Little Gloster was recommended to us by my Partner's daughter in law and we were so glad we followed-up her recommendation. The food was simply wonderful and certainly on a par with a couple of Michelin starred restaurants we have visited before. The place had a lovely ambience and great views too. Our waiter was very young but also very... More

What a wonderful start to our week on the island! Sitting in the sun overlooking the Solent, delicious breakfast with tasty perfectly cooked ingredients. Staff and owners were all delightful - the sort of service that is missing so often. We will definitely be back.

I don't usually write reviews but after my experience at the Little Gloster I came home and immediately recommended it to all of my friends. My boyfriend and I visited them on a Saturday night during our weekend away to the Isle of Wight and I was bowled over by the service. The young man who served us was attentive... More

We were recommended this by a local resident. It proved to be a wonderful place and the food was brilliant. Slightly limited menu, but something for everyone. The sun-set this particular evening was beautiful. Thouroughly recommend this for an evening out.

I had heard good things about the Little Gloster and was delighted to accept a dinner date with my husband there. It was a perfect summer's evening so drinks in the garden was a delightful way to start the evening. Pity though that they managed to put alcohol in my husband's non alcoholic cocktail, although that was quickly sorted out.... More

This restaurant by the sea (with beautiful rooms if you can't bear to leave) is an absolute must if you're in the Isle of Wight. The views from the garden and from the restaurant are sensational, particularly so at sunset. This is however, is a restaurant with an ambitious and creative kitchen, you can order with confidence of an enjoyable... More

We, 3 of us, came for lunch on a sunny afternoon. We opted to sit inside since the picnic benches did not look too comfortable. The food was excellent! We had the scampi from the specials, which were nice and fresh, and the Vietnamnese salad with pork belly. For my liking I found this dish a little too sweet. But... More

Went here as a group of 10 for dinner before the round the island race. It was so nice having a drink outside overlooking the solent and being right on the waters edge. Our food order was taken as we were having our drinks outside then called through as the starters were about to be served. Food and service really... More

I think we were there at the same time as the earlier reviewer. People did arrive all at the same time. One minute the restaurant was empty and in 5-10 minutes it was packed. We stayed overnight. The room was spotless and well appointed. There is an eye for detail at this place. The service was impeccable. The food at... More

Went here on a lovely sunny day. Sat in the garden with the dogs and and ordered a drink. It was 1pm. We were told that they were not serving food for about 45 mins but a little unsure why. We decided to have a drink in the sun and wait. The food came out 2pm. It was good. Lobster... More
