Unfussy excellence - brilliantly served!

A party of 12 most be a challenge for any restaurant - but Little Gloster handled it without any fuss and we were made to feel so welcome. Had an absolutely excellent lunch here over Valentines Weekend. The staff were very nice and very helpful, the location is absolutely lovely and overlooks the sea, and the food was really very hard to fault! I could really recommend the smoked haddock chowder - full of fish and very delicious. However everything we had was really excellent. I don't eat... More

Tina Turner had obviously been here to eat - the definite inspiration for that song! I have now eaten her a few times, each time seems to be better than the last! A fantastic variety of sublime food, flavour freshness, presentation cannot be faulted! The view is also awesome, particularly on a Sunday brunch watching the dinghys and on Cowes... More

Such a great place. Top marks for service, smiles, ambience and food. This was the first place we dined at when we reached the Isle of Wight as we were staying in Cowes. It is right on the beach. Good choice of cocktails and the food was refined and well presented Not to mention fresh. Highly recommended.

The little Gloucester is a first class place to eat .The menu is good some of which is based on places the owners have visited. You could not ask for a better setting to eat your meal. The staff are very polite and helpful. We have visited little glouster more than once and will continue to do so.

booked as a party of 10, interesting and varied menu. Being a vegetarian always makes life difficult in non dedicated restaurants but here the choices were inventive and when they came both full of flavour and showed a real dedication to the trade. An excellent wine list to choose from with a few wines that I have never seen listed... More

We visited the Little Glouster as a Thankyou present to our close friends..Couldn't have been better,,,The cauloflower soup with fried florets was one of the best soups I have ever eaten. The aged steak stood up to its menu description!!Melted in the mouth..Chips,crispy and delicious..could of done with a slightly bigger salad! Dessert amazing. Very well presented staff and all...
