Worth it if staying at Hilton

We ate here one night and had a 630 seating with a direct view of the sharks. Staff did a great job when it started to rain getting us all covered with umbrellas. We had mahi-mahi crepe (just ok) and the Captain Cook crepe (very good and highyl recommended) for dinner. We had the plain crepe (very... read more

We stayed at the Hilton resort for our honeymoon; while the overall hotel experience left a lot to be desired for, we LOVED Toatea crepes! The restaurant is set over the lagoon at the Hilton - this alone presents a unique dining experience. As you eat under the stars, you watch the fish and reef sharks swimming in the illuminated... We had read all the reviews of this place prior to our stay at the Hilton but we weren't really prepared for just how delicious their crepes are. In fact we loved it so much we returned two nights in a row. We had both the mahi mahi and the seafood crepes and while the mahi mahi was delicious the... More

We ate at Toatea for 3 of our 4 nights at the Hilton and loved it. Chef Claude was warm and inviting, and both the savory and sweet crepes were excellent. The shark feeding was a great bonus. Casual atmosphere, great staff, and it was a short walk from our bungalow. Great spot!

The crepes at the restaurant were delicious and had great variety to choose from. The Mai Tai's were delicious. It was great to sit and watch the sharks swim below you as the the restaurant is located over the water by the bungalows

My husband and I ate dinner at Toatea two times during our vacation on Moorea. The crepes were excellent and we loved the atmosphere. There really is nothing like watching the sharks swim under you throughout your entire meal! The only downside was I ordered a goat cheese, honey and pinenut crepe for dinner the second time we ate there.... More

I had heard many feedback about this place, but never got the chance to go until last weekend. Because of Easter, it was very busy and so the service was slow but apart from that we had a really nice time. Simple crepes are a bit overpriced in my opinion but the specials are definitely worth. There is also a... More

The Mona Mona Crêpe was excellent and meeting Gerard alone was worth the walk out to the lovely over-the-water bar. We went back the next night, but the Suzette was not as good. If you're staying at the resort do go, but keep it simple.

We had read many positive reviews about the the Crepes bar, but my wife was still a little apprehensive about have crepes for dinner. After the first bit, she wasn't apprehensive any longer. We actually had three dinners here during the week and the food was great each time. The last night we had a nice chat with the Chef... More
