What a surprising find. After trying several more upmarket places in Santanyi , this became the first choice and firm favourite for the duration of our holiday. No airs and graces , little English spoken, but truly excellent local food. Highlights were the Entrecôte steak ( enormous and beautifully cooked ) , the Swordfish ( ditto and served with four... Es Lombards is a small village just outside of Santanyi so it was surprising to find such a great place here. This restaurant in this small village was just a 2 minute walk from where we were staying. It has some covered seating outside by the road and a very traditional inside, no frills. The food id wonderful. We had... More

A quiet Malloquien village restaurant and bar that serves freshly cooked and well presented basic meals. Friendly and pleasant staff, its a pleasure to eating their food. Closed Mondays.

If you want a nice, Spanish, fairly cheap meal then go to Sa Fona. 220 euros for 6 people, three courses and three bottles of wine! I had the biggest steak I have ever seen and it was delicious. Mussels were excellent as were a la plancha. Don't expect silver service though, just sit back and soak up the atmosphere!

We have been throughout this charming little village many times en route to Es Trenc from Porto Petro and I noticed there was a good review someone posted. We went for menu of he day which was around 10 euro a head with wine and water. The salad for starters was huge, it would have easily passed for a main... More

We ate here one evening over Easter this year. The decor is very typical - not at all a tourist restaurant and the food was excellent. There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children) and we all enjoyed our meals. The paella was lovely and we also enjoyed the house special, quite a spectacle! The set lunch menu... More

Ate there on 25 August. The small village is between Santanyi and Ses Salines, Sa Fona is located in the center of the village and offers some al fresco table. Food, mostly local dishes, was of outstanding quality. With friends I indulges in their signature meat recipe called La Potence. Its meat cubed and presented on the spikes of a... More

Stopped here by chance on a day out for a light lunch. Most of the menu seemed a bit more than we wanted so we opted for the beefburger with chips (how very Scottish). It turned out to be one of the best meals we had in Majorca! We had the traditional bread, garlic mayonnaise, and olives to start. The... More
