Description: Old Vines Restaurant is a meeting place of fresh local ingredients. Our selection of dishes enhance the light, fresh and fruitful, rich style of Quails' Gate wines. Our menu is constantly evolving as a reflection of our focus to serve the best and freshest the valley's local artisans and west coast markets can provide. We are dedicated to providing you with a beautiful setting and the ultimate food and wine experience in the Okanagan Valley. The Province (January 2007) Best places to un-wine. "Its fairytale pretty indoor/outdoor dining room among the vineyards is aptly named Old Vines Patio. Dinner here as the sun sets over the lake is a treat for the eyes and the palate." The New York Times (October 2006) - "Beyond our tables, the panorama of the lakefront, watercraft wake lines and row upon row of grapevines, with mountains in the distance, was mesmerizing." Wine Spectator (July 2004)- "One of the four best places to dine in the Okanagan."

We eat here every time we come to Quails gate winery. Every meal is wonderful and of coarse, so is the wine. The location is beautiful as well.

Lovely daytime setting, great service food and value for money. Cod was firm, tender and moist, cheese selection just enough either a decent variety ! Try it out - you won't be dissapointed !

Oh Quails Gate your standards have changed for the worse. Firstly the on-line reservation page sucks the big one and is a pain. The only open time to reserve was 830 on a Thursday night. Oh well we went anyway and there were many open tables could have come in earlier I'm sure but due to the online reservation system... More

Quails’ Gate prides itself on its service standards, the quality of our product and friendliness of our staff. As a result we have remained the #1 choice of Trip Advisor’s members for the entire summer of 2014. One of the measures employed by Old Vines Restaurant is to space the timing of our diners in such a way that enables... More

The staff at the winery was excellent and very well-informed, certainly one of the best experiences we encountered in our visit to the many wineries in the valley.

Staff was friendly and helpful, the view of the vineyard and lake from the patio was great and the food was outstanding. I had flank steak which was cooked medium rare. It was tender and easy to cut. The wife had a line cod dish and a son had a linguini dish. All were outstanding. Of course the wines were... More

We have been to this restaurant several times and love it. The food is excellent and unique and if you choose to sit outside you are steps from the vineyard that providers the grapes for their exceptional wines. From your table you gaze downhill across the large vineyard and out over Okaganan Lake. A great experience.

Our budget allowed us to experience the restaurant for lunch instead of dinner. We were not disappointed! The staff is so friendly and eager to ensure your visit is a wonderful experience. The portions for lunch are perfect... not too little, not too much. Since dinner reservations can fill up quickly, the lunch option is a great alternative!

A lovely atmosphere, ambiance is romantic if you are seated overlooking the vineyard, service is top, food presentation lovely, taste is good but for myself, I'm not a big eater and yet I left feeling like I wished there was more food. I had both appetizer /oysters & dinner/ Cornish hen, we shared an excellent 06 wine, but I think... More

Our friends had recommended this restaurant while visiting the vineyards - I'm so glad my husband and I listened. We had reservations for a late lunch on the patio. The views of the lake and the vineyard are phenomenal. The host who greeted us was friendly and inviting, our server was attentive, the water glasses were always filled, and the... More
