Description: Old Vines Restaurant is a meeting place of fresh local ingredients. Our selection of dishes enhance the light, fresh and fruitful, rich style of Quails' Gate wines. Our menu is constantly evolving as a reflection of our focus to serve the best and freshest the valley's local artisans and west coast markets can provide. We are dedicated to providing you with a beautiful setting and the ultimate food and wine experience in the Okanagan Valley. The Province (January 2007) Best places to un-wine. "Its fairytale pretty indoor/outdoor dining room among the vineyards is aptly named Old Vines Patio. Dinner here as the sun sets over the lake is a treat for the eyes and the palate." The New York Times (October 2006) - "Beyond our tables, the panorama of the lakefront, watercraft wake lines and row upon row of grapevines, with mountains in the distance, was mesmerizing." Wine Spectator (July 2004)- "One of the four best places to dine in the Okanagan."

This is a very nice restaurant and setting for dining but it just doesn't deliver. The selections are minimal. The entrees are over priced for what you are served. The best part was the service, setting and desert. I would choose Raudz or Bouchons first before returning here. Just doesn't live up to its reviews. Dissapointing.

Unable to get a reservation on the weekend when visiting I went out for dinner with girlfriends mid week. Given the time of year we couldn't see the beautiful view. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely, the service was excellent and as I am very fond of Quail's gate wine I liked the wine list as well. Our dinners... More

A definite must. Food, service, the view and of course, the wine make this one of the finest places to eat in the Okanagan

We arrived early for our reservation so we could taste their wine. They have 4 wines to sample. Also they have a great wine shop that has lots of interesting things to buy besides wine. The food was so good and so flavorful. It was a perfect dinner with the perfect glass of wine and a beautiful sunset. We had... More

The view and menu is fabulous. The amount of food you get for the price is not comparable to other fine restaurants in the area. We have had some great meals here, however based on our last experience we would only come here if we really want the view. For craving fine food we will go elsewhere to get the... More

We ate lunch and did a wine tasting session here as part of a package with Alpine Helicopters. Our lunch was wonderful, and the wines were great!

Went there for an afternoon snack and a charcuterie (sp?) platter. When we finished the platter we noticed the fois gras (sp?)and had to try it. I would recommend both. Oh yes, and if you have not been there the view is outstanding.

Such a wonderful place. Great service and wonderful food (especially the crab cakes). A definite must when in the area.

After ordering several item's from the Starter menu (not so hungry due to a late lunch) our server brought them to the table. Our selections had included a couple of salads with beets on them, in fact the beets were in the name of the menu item. It became apparent, after studying one of the salads, that the beets were...
