Description: Old Vines Restaurant is a meeting place of fresh local ingredients. Our selection of dishes enhance the light, fresh and fruitful, rich style of Quails' Gate wines. Our menu is constantly evolving as a reflection of our focus to serve the best and freshest the valley's local artisans and west coast markets can provide. We are dedicated to providing you with a beautiful setting and the ultimate food and wine experience in the Okanagan Valley. The Province (January 2007) Best places to un-wine. "Its fairytale pretty indoor/outdoor dining room among the vineyards is aptly named Old Vines Patio. Dinner here as the sun sets over the lake is a treat for the eyes and the palate." The New York Times (October 2006) - "Beyond our tables, the panorama of the lakefront, watercraft wake lines and row upon row of grapevines, with mountains in the distance, was mesmerizing." Wine Spectator (July 2004)- "One of the four best places to dine in the Okanagan."

Quails Gate is always on our list of wineries to visit to purchase some wine. Great value for your money. The grounds are beautiful with their breathtaking views of Lake Okanagan and the Vineyards. Having a lunch at the restaurant afterwards is also very enjoyable.

We ate lunch here and it was an excellent experience. The staff was friendly yet maintained a very professional vibe and the food was done perfectly. It is a fancier and very expensive meal with the portions being smaller but the flavors were very well put together. The view is the best part though. If you can get a spot... More

But the ambiance makes up for the average food somewhat. I ordered the Atlantic Cod, a tasteless bottom dweller that was cooked well served on a bed of chick peas. The cod was the size of two toonies and the chic peas are 87 cents a can. So their cost was $1.87 and they charged $23.00. I would have been... More

This restaurant and winery was recommended from our hotel on our visit this summer. We had our meal at a window overlooking the lake and winery and it was an absolutely fabulous experience. While outside would have been nice too, there's no beating air conditioning in 34C temperatures. Went for a short walk after the meal in the winery and... More

This was the second time I have had dinner at Quails Gate. The first time was good but this time it was exceptional. We had a table on the terrace that had a stunning view of the lake and mountains. The service was faultless. Jacinta our server was gracious and attentive. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the... More

Quail's Gate will never let you down. The food here is outstanding and always memorable. I get to eat here once a year in August and I have never ever been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant and their wines. The crab cakes, olives, chicken and couscous were so delicious. The service is also top-notch.

Make reservations ahead! Well worth it! Our lunch took a little long getting to us, which we probably wouldn't have even noticed except the manager came over to apologize, topped off our wine, and then brought us a free appetizer. The food was fantastic!

We eat here every time we come to Quails gate winery. Every meal is wonderful and of coarse, so is the wine. The location is beautiful as well.

Lovely daytime setting, great service food and value for money. Cod was firm, tender and moist, cheese selection just enough either a decent variety ! Try it out - you won't be dissapointed !

Oh Quails Gate your standards have changed for the worse. Firstly the on-line reservation page sucks the big one and is a pain. The only open time to reserve was 830 on a Thursday night. Oh well we went anyway and there were many open tables could have come in earlier I'm sure but due to the online reservation system... More
