The New York Times (October 2006) - "Beyond our tables, the panorama of the lakefront, watercraft wake lines and row upon row of grapevines, with mountains in the distance, was mesmerizing." Our bridal party went here for dinner on our wedding night and it was nothing short of spectacular! As soon as you pull up to the restaurant you know you are in for a treat. The entrance is perfectly laid out with lush plants and flowers in pots and hanging above you. With the view of the vineyards and Okanagan... More

My wife and I live in the Kelowna area and this was our first time eating at Old Vines Restaurant. The view was amazing, the outdoor seating was perfect, food was delicious. A bit pricey as can be expected at a fancy winery but well worth the experience! If you truly value a great atmosphere while dining with exceptional food... More

One of the best lunches I've had in the Okanagan! The service and staff was great. The meal was even better and the view from the restaurant is awesome. Weather was great so we had an opportunity to sit on the patio. Had the charcuterie board as an appetizer and halibut as the main (it was the lunch special). Fish... More

The setting of Quail's gate Old Vines Restaurant is stunning, on the side of the hill with the view of vineyards and the lake below and very colorful and well designed gardens and flowers everywhere. We had a reservation that is required in the summer - even for lunch and had a lovely view on the outside terrace. The service... More

We had a wonderful evening. It's not cheap but definitely the money worth. The service is very nice and they are always open for a small chat. The food and the wine were delicious! So we give definitely 5 stars.

Varied menu, nice wine pairings, quiet despite being a larger restaurant. Ask for a window seat as is pretty when the sun sets. Dine on the patio if warm!

My husband took me here for my birthday. All I can say is wow. The view is breathtaking. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were treated like valuable customers. The food was done to perfection and the service was outstanding. The chef has his own herb garden and the food was mostly organic. My husband had the bison... More

Had lunch with a friend there yesterday. Service was friendly and fast, but I was disappointed with the lunch menu. My friend chose the pasta dish with fennel sausage, which she really enjoyed, and I had the cod dish. For the price the piece of fish was very small and overdone, disappointing. We looked at the dessert menu, again very... More

My wife and I went for dinner here Saturday night for the first time with a reservation and sat outside experiencing stunning views of the rolling vineyards, and Lake Okanagan, with water feature, and manicured grounds all in sight lines. The server was very prompt and professional and the service what one would expect for a higher end eating establishment.... More

I was up in Kelowna for a trip with girlfriends and it was recommended by my family to check out Quails Gate for lunch. They said that you should reserve. I am a huge fan of Quails Gate wines, especially the whites. We didn't reserve, and it was packed because it was Labor Day. So we came at noon, and... More
