Description: Old Vines Restaurant is a meeting place of fresh local ingredients. Our selection of dishes enhance the light, fresh and fruitful, rich style of Quails' Gate wines. Our menu is constantly evolving as a reflection of our focus to serve the best and freshest the valley's local artisans and west coast markets can provide. We are dedicated to providing you with a beautiful setting and the ultimate food and wine experience in the Okanagan Valley. The Province (January 2007) Best places to un-wine. "Its fairytale pretty indoor/outdoor dining room among the vineyards is aptly named Old Vines Patio. Dinner here as the sun sets over the lake is a treat for the eyes and the palate." The New York Times (October 2006) - "Beyond our tables, the panorama of the lakefront, watercraft wake lines and row upon row of grapevines, with mountains in the distance, was mesmerizing." Wine Spectator (July 2004)- "One of the four best places to dine in the Okanagan."

We were amazed at the food, the wine list, and some of the best service we've had in the area. The staff are real "foodies," and make the experience delightful.

There are so many great wineries in the Okanagan, and a number have excellent dining facilities included, but our favorite is the Old Vines at Quail's Gate Winery. It's not as large as some of the better known spots, and the tables are laid out in a manner that encourages a relaxing and unhurried dinner. Located on the West slope... More

Amazing view of the lake and surrounding vineyard. Although some have commented on the price being high for what you get, this is not the case. This is fine dining and you will pay what is average for it. What's important is that the selection was imaginative and tastes wonderful. To really enjoy your meal be sure to get it... More

On a warm, sunny day on April 25, 2013, we arrived at Quails' Gate to taste their superb wines and have lunch at their acclaimed resto. The view alone is worth the drive. First we began in the tasting room, where we were offered the wines we wished to taste, and learned about them in the depth we wanted. The... More

Had a surprise of a 97 Pinot Noir that had been opened earlier that day Combined with a gourmet dinner and unbelievable view you can't go wrong. Crab appetizer is way too expensive for two cakes but everything else was wonderful

The wine is very good but seems that it is more expensive in the restaurant than it is in the liqour store? Don't understand that. The food and the view are excellent and the staff is very nice.

We had brunch at the Old Vines Restaurant which is part of the Quail's GAte Estate Winery. While the food is not cheap it definately was gourmet. If you like fine dining your will enjoy this restaurant. The view of the vineyards and the lake beyond keep you interested and so the well paced food service goes unnoticed. The waiters... More
