Description: Overlooking rows of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, our outdoor Terrace Restaurant offers stylish, seasonal wine country fare to complement our wines. This spectacular culinary destination was recently recognized by Travel + Leisure magazine as "one of the top five winery restaurants in the world…the centerpiece of the Canadian wine tourism industry…one of the most glorious dining experiences around." We are very fortunate to have an accomplished and celebrated culinary team, led by Executive Winery Chef Matthew Batey, CCC (Certified Chef de Cuisine). Since arriving in the Okanagan following a distinguished restaurant cooking career, Matthew has co-authored the concept of "Cuisine du Terroir": wine country cooking with the freshest, locally grown, in-season ingredients.

This was our best restaurant experience on our trip in BC. The menu is very nice and the food as well as the presentation is very good. Off course the wine pairing with the food is perfect. Your sitting outside with beautiful views of Mission Hill and the surroundings. Services are good. If you’re into wining and dining, this is... More

We had lunch here while travelling to the Rockies and I am impressed by the beauty of the place, the magnificent views over the lake, the perfect and very human service of the staff and the eagle-eyed maître. Lovely wines (Martin's Lane Riesling and Viognier) and a superb entree with squid and a delicious chicken. Great local cheeses. Perfect !!... More

My husband surprised me for our anniversary with a trip to Kelowna. We chose to go to the Mission Hill winery & made reservations for dinner at their restaurant. What a WONDERFUL evening!!! We started with a flight of wine which helped us choose a 2007 Oculus. All I can say is...WOW!!! The staff were all amazing and personable. The... More

We were SUPER excited to come here for lunch. When we arrived we were the second table to be seated and they tried to seat us beside another two top table, which was really awkward, as there was no one else around. I asked if we could have another table closer to the end and they seem kind of put... More

My husband and I have vey high standards for dining. We were very happy with our experience at the terrace. The portion sizes were fantastic my husband who likes a large portion was very happy with his lamb although I do recommend sharing either an appy or dessert, bread was included. This is comparing to Canadian portions as I know... More

Remember to make your reservations well in advance. We had the carpaccio and squid salad. The carpaccio was tasty, I would pass on the squid salad for next time. We tried the pasta special (Linguine with halibut), steak and the lamb. The entrees were all good except the sauce for the lamb was overpowering. We tried all 3 desserts and... More

I may not have been as impressed with this restaurant had it not been part of the wonderful Mission Hill Winery experience, but it was good with creative menu items and excellent wine-food pairing suggestions as you'd expect. The location and view are excellent, but it could get a bit cool and/or windy if the weather doesn't cooperate for you.... More

"Fine dining" typically means a pretentious, stuffy restaurant serving outrageously expensive food in minuscule portions. While The Terrace at Mission Hill isn't cheap, it's the example of what fine dining should be and was one of the best meals we've ever had. The venue is obviously breathtaking. With panoramic views of Okanagan beauty at its finest, this winery is the... More

My wife and I had visited the Mission Hill Winery before (see my review). On that occasion it did not work out so that we could eat there at the Terrace Restaurant, but we both thought we'd like to come back. It is a spectacular location: a kind of roofed, concrete pier with an amazing view of the vineyards and... More

A view like no other with food and wine pairing that would rival your best dining experience. Make reservations as seating is limited and the restaurant is a must do. The staff is amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of effort extended to make your feel welcome and insure your experience is stellar.
