Had lunch last Friday. We had freshly fried beer battered cod and the home made Leek and Potatoe pie with Filo pastry. Both were excellent. Service was very good considering how busy it was.

As a local, its a regular destination by choice, quality food from excellent local sources, they do not skimp on quality which means the prices are not cheap, but worth every penny. The pastry on their quiche is to die for!

I do tend to pop into here frequently wether it be with the children, older family members or friends. The food itself is really nice, the cakes are just delicious and all homemade. The seating area is warm and has a nice atmosphier. The only let down it the cost, it is just so steep to me. Example for a... More

Thanks for feedback, I'm glad you enjoy your food. I'm sorry you feel we are over priced. We feel our prices are good value for the our meals in that they are home-cooked, generous portions and, as you mentioned, the jackets are served with fresh salad and coleslaw as well as a topping of your choice. Another couple of great lunches this week - we are always confident that this is what we will experience. We had three weeks self-enforced 'staycation' because of training a new puppy but we made it back at last - we just knew it would be the first place we would head for, once we could. It was as good as... More

Visited for the first time on the recommendation of a family member. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of Perrywood - the Christmas decorations, home accessories, plants, garden accessories, tools etc and, especially, the Coffee Shop. Hot food is available plus sandwiches, cakes, afternoon teas and, with time constraints, breakfasts. The surroundings and views from the Coffee Shop are really lovely.... More

The Perrywood Garden Centre is a must whenever we are in the area. It has one of the best collections of garden plants and accessories I know of, but we chose to go here mainly for the food. It is called the Coffee Shop but is more like a classy canteen. There are no frills or fussiness. It is a... More

Hello, thanks for your review. We're glad you enjoy your visits! As to the lunch ordering, we would not normally put them through on two transactions as you have described so I'm sorry if it caused any inconvenience. Hope to see you again soon! More

Stopped off to have a look at the Christmas display. Not to be missed. Then went for lunch. I am always amazed at the amount of people here! We got in for lunch before the rush started and got a table by the window with the lovely view. Food as always was excellent. Look forward to needing some more plants... More

Enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch from a varied menu that contained a lot of home made dishes. Butternut Squash, Spinach and mushrrom lasagne was delicious! Was very busy as you'd expect but the process of ordering and paying for our food was ver well organised and we once seated we didn't wait long at all for our food. Good service... More

My husband & myself have been to Perrywoods Garden Centre coffee shop many times over the years even though we travel around 100 miles round trip to get there. We have recommended many people to the coffee shop during that time & they too are repeat visitors. Yes we have bought plants, etc., but to be honest we go for... More

We always feel that the ethos at Perrywood establishment is to strive to attain excellence. The Coffee Shop, within the Garden Centre, is no exception. We go on a regular basis ... well, let's put it this way, I couldn't leave a review very time we visited .... :-) I'd never be off Tripadvisor if I did. We have always... More
