Simple food but big portion. Nice for a coffee catch up or lunch with the girls. Good, friendly service.

Moniaive is out of the way, but is in a beautiful part of the world and worth a visit, and the Green Tea House is a great place on any itinerary. We had afternoon tea and coffee with mango and passion fruit meringue..... lovely. There was a great range of deserts and the food menu for lunch/dinner looked enticing, so... More

Moniaive isn't the biggest of villages, but on a wet walk we decided to pop in. Very friendly welcome, attentive staff, good choice on the menu, and not skimpy with the portions either. If your not feeling very hungry, go for the cakes! home made, and plenty on the plate, well worth the visit.

Very friendly and laid back place. They don't rush you. You can have just a cup of tea or a full meal. Nice outdoor area with good views. I haven't been for an evening meal but lunchtimes are always good value. Free wifi

This restaurant serves wonderful food. There's a good range, it's served beautifully and it is great value for money.staff were very attentive. Watch out for the sweets- they are so good! Lunch or dinner, or just a coffee and a cake - yummy!

We had dinner here (family of 5, including teenagers) and the food was delicious and the portions very generous. Next time we go I will opt for 2 starters then a dessert, as a starter followed by a main course leaves too little room for the fabulous desserts (check out the raspberry mousse), unless you have done some serious walking... Came across this place while touring with our caravan. There's no parking directly at the location but a there is a public car park and on street parking within easy walking distance. Found a convenient spot to park our unit and were pleased we made the effort. It's a great place. Lovely views while trying to decide what to sample... More

On the main street in Moniaive this is a gem of a tea room. Wide variety of delicious sounding cakes and scones with soup and snacks available throughout the day.Lovely view at the back looking towards the surrounding hills. We were served by two lovely girls.

My partner and I turned up at ten past eight hoping to eat without a reservation. We found out that the restaurant closes at 8.30pm and they were also heavily booked up. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us, including providing a vegetarian option. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was good. All in all it... More
