Relaxed and satisfying

This is a conveniently located restaurant with a relaxed vibe and satisfying food. They do not take bookings except for very large groups, but the place is probably large enough to accommodate drop-by dining on most nights. We were a foursome who arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday night, and had a... read more

Clearly a convenient meeting point but this restaurant disappoints big time. How can a Spanish restaurant serve its white Rioja at room temperature and try to pass off pathetic little tasteless barely unfrozen shrimp as a tapas for near seven pounds. Paella is bearable but not of any consequence to redeem the many failings.

Unauthentic. The sea bass was over cooked and rubbery, the salad was cheap, tasteless and watery and the fried potatoes were basically cut up frozen chips with no flavour at all. All of the ingredients seemed to be of very poor quality. There must be something fishy going on with most of the reviews for this place as it's hard... More

I was treated to a meal here by a friend of mine on a busy Saturday night. Not knowing what to expect, I enjoyed this Tapas Restaurant immensly! The flavour, the staff, the quickness of the service on a Saturday night..All Excellent! Really excelled my expectations and I would definately recommend and come here again! Thank you!

A great atmosphere greets us for our pre match lunch. Good fun, great service and very good value, the set menu was more than sufficient to set us up for the full day ahead. We'll be back, hopefully next Saturday. Well worth a visit.

The swordfish tasted fine but seemed like it came out of the microwave and had garlic thrown on top. The gambas ajillos we cleared boiled, frozen tiny shrimp with watery 'sauce' and no flavour. The white baguette was clearly a day old and crumbling. We asked three times for water and waited twenty minutes for it to arrive even thought... More

have been only once but wow ! the atmosphere similar to busy places in Andalucia. Going to Twickers for England , France match in March, definately be eating here after the match. Food and staff reminds us of old Spain, but some reviews seem to come from the English breakfast travellers who only want tomato sauce on their food for... More

Our table of 4 ordered the Paella Valenciana and the red sangria. The serving of paella was generous and freshly made as advertised. Tasty, but lacked a depth to the spices. Nothing additional comes with the meal, so if you want bread, you have to order it. Sangria was okay. The servers seemed underwhelmed, like they have been doing this... More

The headline says it all really....great value tapas...a buzzing atmosphere....if even one of the staff looked cheerful or engaged with the customers it would ramp the whole experience up a notch. All the tapas we had including the paella were excellent....particularly the kidney tapas. (note that reservations are not accepted but it is actually a very large restaurant inside)

Met up with some old friends on a Tuesday, having not been here for a couple of years. Staff were as friendly as ever, food was very tasty ( kidneys in sherry are still a personal favourite) and all very reasonably priced.
