Came here after being recommended to it by our friends. The garden centre was fine, so we decided to have a light lunch in the teahouse. The staff were very pleasant and there was no waiting around for our food. The cutlery was lovely and clean and bright. We both had different quiches with a side salad in what was... More

My daughter took me here for lunch to celebrate my birthday. Located in a (albeit trendy) garden centre type venue, the quality of the food and service is most unexpected.Wonky tables, upcycled chairs and a glass house type building is softened by eastern style wall hangings and plants all around. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and dealt swiftly and... More

First time at the restaurant. My mother was visiting from Australia Such a lovely setting. The staff are really good and full of knowledge about the menu . Two I must point out as they are are completely opposite of each other. The young Scottish waiter, was amazing, very welcoming, very attentive without being obtrusive. However the sommelier was embarrassing... More

Overpriced for what it is and the quality of the meat was terrible and undercooked. I don't know what the cafe is like but wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

We didn't get to eat in the restaurant, but went for lunch in the café. Having been before, we weren't surprised by the 'rustic' setting, rickety tables etc, which is unusual and can be charming, especially in better weather. I had a slice of quiche with mixed leaf side salad. Thin crisp pastry, tasty chard and taleggio filling. But it... More

The food was delicious, quite expensive but a lovely atmosphere and a fun and different place to go and eat. Very nice staff.

This place is really hard to find and parking is difficult. There isn't a proper car park; you park in a rough lane and will have to reverse a long way to get out. The restaurant itself is pretty and rather charming, the staff (they have a designated sommelier too) were pleasant and the food was good but it was... More

The coffee House is located in the middle of the Petersham Garden Centre. They usually serves a choice of 3/4 hot main dishes and several cakes. We had a Pork loin with delicious organic vegetables on a side and a quiche. Cakes are nothing special. The tables are spreaded all around the different nurseries. Service it's good despite not been... More

Overall enjoyed our Sunday lunch here. Different concept for sure, lovely setting and even though it's pretty huge it doesn't feel like you are in a big restaurant. Room for the push chair as well. Menu was straight fwd with an emphasis of fish and game. Worth looking at the menu beforehand online to get an idea what to expect.... More

Petersham Nurseries is a garden centre. You sit at mismatched tables and chairs in between artistically arranged bits of garden statuary, architectural salvage and antiques all set inside a large conservatory with dirt floor. The food is good gastro pub level only, flavoursome but not exceptional. The prices are astronomic - £15 for a starter and £30 for a main course... More
