The food wasn't extraordinary but good. Good service and great quintessential pub atmosphere. And the location is very nice as well.
I wanted to leave a review in the hope it get's back to management. I've been coming to this pub for years and have had friends who have worked in the pub etc. Though the food has been increasingly bad, has really gone downhill, maybe a change of chef? Yes, the atmosphere is great, the pub is nice inside and... More
I have recently returned home after Lunch at the Marlborough Richmond with my Husband and Parents. We were shocked that after 55mins and having just finished our Main Meal (no starters) we were asked to leave the table. They suggested that if we wanted Dessert and Coffee we could STAND IN THE BAR AREA!! and if another table become available... More
Lovely pub near Richmond park with comfy sofas and perfect to drop into after a walk. Admittedly they focus their Sunday efforts on lunch with roasts galore which by all accounts are rather good, however Mrs B and I had a very average dinner ... the rib eye steak was not up to the standard that I have had in... Hidden garden atop Richmond Hill. Perfect for a summers day and nice and cozy inside in the winter. Try the rotisserie chicken and slaw... Mmmm. Lovely local place.
This pub is bigger then you initially think. It opens up into a spacious beer garden at the rear plus lots of varied seating areas inside. We have been many times, mainly as our daughter lives about 100m away. You need to order your food at the bar which is usually straight forward.Food is cheerful but average. Service is OK after... More
I recently went to this pub for a meal. It was a Saturday evening and there was a large area we were unable to go into due to a wedding reception. We had not booked a table for two and they restaurant was full but were shown to a table in the bar area and were prepared to eat there.... More
We had a pub lunch and some real ales here and loved it. They have a cracking beer garden and the service was very good. great food and atmosphere. Give it a try.
Extremely overpriced - £9 for a G&T?! 3.50 for each shot of liquor. Worst of all, when we left, I caught them taking our unfinished wine bottle behind the bar to re-sell!
