Great pub tucked around the back of Richmond green. It is a great find. Beautiful food and decor. Perfect for a good home cooked meal after a long walk.

Love English Pubs, they rarely disappoint and The White Swan was the perfect place to have lunch after visiting Hampton Court. Attractive and interesting building. Very friendly and efficient staff and an extensive menu. Very affordable and tasty meals. A relaxing visit. Surroundings were pretty too.

At lunchtime today a friend and I visited "The WhiteSwan" which is a pub in a narrow lane not far from Richmond Green and The River Thames. It was England at its best . The service was excellent ,the staff were very pleasant and efficient and the food was tasty ,well presented and very reasonably priced. The pub looks to... More

This is a super pub round the back of Richmond. Good food, service and atmosphere. Gets very busy on rugby days.

Visited with a group of 10 on a Saturday and managed to find a table in the garden. Nice menu but the food is just the same as anywhere else really and a bit expensive for what you get. Portions were not huge despite what some other reviewers say but ample for us as we don't have huge appetites. 'Nice'... More

Reluctant to rave about this place to give away the secret but this place is a proper old pub with excellent food in a lovely location. Have now visited four times for dinner and a couple of times for just a lunch time drink. So hard to find this kind of place in London. The service is as impressive as... More

Pubs by the river in Richmond are glorious, they are also uncomfortably crowded if it's a sunny summer evening. Not so, The White Swan. It is a 5 minute walk from Richmond bridge down the embankment past a few packed out pubs and a right turn on Old Palace Lane about 50 meters from the river. You can sit inside... More

Enjoyed the food here so much on a visit earlier in the year we came back for more with a bigger group of friends. Proper gastro pub type food, nothing too fancy but all really tasty and plenty of it. Highlight for me has to be the banoffee pie for pudding- it's lush!

We haven't yet eaten here - though we say we should each time we visit! This place is in a great location, with friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. There is a fantastic atmosphere and our small hound is made more than welcome each time we visit. A gem of a place.
