Very popular Richmond restaurant

This restaurant is always very busy but the staff cope very well. We had a particularly good waiter called Andrea. The food is Italian based with a lot of choice. My saltimbocca was particularly good and my granddaughter had the lamb which looked amazing. My husband had fish of the day which he... read more

Met with a client at Bacco , really friendly professional service and great food. We chose from the set lunch 3 course menu and everything was very good and in good lunchtime portion sizes. House white was good. Our service was efficient and friendly and not pushy. Well done Stefano and the team

I went there last December for a special occasion. We took starter + Prosecco, main dish, and dessert and we spent approx £80 in total. For those who love Italian food this is a very good place! Great position (in front of the tube stop) and good service.

We've had many good meals here but never again. Service was appalling - 45 mins wait for simple starter, and another 20 mins ( despite request for speed) for lasagne). Rocket salad arrived 10 ins after that and we sent it away as too late. Lasagne had obviously been standing on a hotplate for ages - painfully hot to eat,... More

Stephano and his team, particularly the lovely Claudia, provide without question, the best quality, best value pre-rugby lunch for a Twickenham game that you can get. Accommodating, welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, incredibly efficient service; no better way to start the pre match build up. Thank you for always giving my guests and me a superb eating experience.

I've lived in Richmond for over 25 years and only came across this restaurant when a local client invited me to lunch there. Wow! Fabulous food - I have always bemoaned the lack of a high-class go-to restaurant locally, but now I've found it. Simply fantastic.

A very civilised way to start a day of international rugby! Excellent fixed menu lunch. Very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere - we sat at an outside table and you really got the pre-match atmosphere. Having the Orange Tree pub net door makes this somewhat inevitable! Food is beautifully prepared, in decent size portions and washed down with a... More

We were disappointed by our visit. The food was average at best - I wasn't particularly enamoured by anything we ordered and service seemed a bit half hearted. It was a real shame as I really wanted to be wowed as I like supporting independent local restaurants. But for now, we'll stick with our local Italian in Kew.
