Description: Jun Tanakas Pearl is one of Londons most glamorous dining rooms. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant exudes opulence with trails of hand-strung pearls, pearl chandeliers and walnut interior. An exquisite modern French menu changes seasonally and is complemented by the stunning surroundings of the restaurant. Pearls award-winning wine list features over 400 wines stored in the expertly crafted wine cellar. Set in the former banking halls of the Pearl Assurance company, Pearl was designed by internationally renowned United Designers with the brief to carry the heritage of the past into the future. Trails of hand-strung pearls, polished walnut surroundings and rare marble combine to give Pearl an air of opulence assured with unique table lighting and pearlescent leather upholsteries. Signature cocktails and martinis are placed on Mother of Pearl inlaid tables in the chic, vibrant bar, while two walnut booths offer private, intimate surroundings away from the main bar.

Its quirky layout, seating & tables that dont match, and the rambling layout, as well as wildy camp decor make this a great place to dine because it stands out. The menu is good, the food even better, and for a couple, with a standard meal with wine, will set you back around £120-£150. Its not the finest place I... More

This restaurant was a real find and local too - after driving past many times I decided to take the plunge and give it a go, and I am so glad I did. From start to finish we had a great time, the surroundings are comfortable ane relaxed and you can easily sit there for several hours enjoying food and... More

We were taken to this restaurant by friends, we had never been before. What a great place. The bar was buzzing, music was great, atmosphere was just fantastic and the food and service were great and excellent value. It's not the quietest place so not so sure about small romantic evenings but as a place to enjoy good food in... More

The first things that strikes you as you arrive is the decor. Outrageously over the top and extravagant outside, perfect and great fun for a night out. We arrived at Rock and Rose just for drinks, but unexpectedly found they had a table available (on a Saturday night at 8pm.) However we would need to vacate by 9:15. Not an... More

I had probably the most enjoyable restaurant experience ever here a few days ago. We booked a table for 1.30 but then asked to change to a later slot the manager Ian was super accommodating. When we arrived a bit early we were showed to a lovely high table by the window and the bar. To kick off we had... More

Wonderful evening, myself along with all my work colleagues had our work do here last night. Not one to ever write reviews I felt it necessary to share my opinion on what was a fantastic venue, beautiful food, helpful, responsive staff, stunning cocktails and a truly delightful ambiance with a quirky Alice in wonderland at Christmas feel to the decor.... We had our work Christmas party yesterday and we had a fabulous time couldn't of been better! Our table looked amazing and we had bottles of champagne ready for our arrival. The staff couldn't of been any more attentive they made sure the drinks were flowing and food was excellent. The chocolate and salted caramel tart was fabulous. My work... More

This was our fourth visit and it was poor, the best part of the evening were the excellent cocktails which were still thankfully perfect. We arrived early for our table reservation only to be made to wait nearly half an hour after it before we were actually seated. When we were we were in a walkway which meant our chairs... More
