I had read great reviews and so decided to have the family Sunday roast here. The food was not great. Won't be going back for roast again especially when considering how many pubs there are in the area. The atmosphere was nice and it is a great traditional feeling pub.

Our first visit and we wanted to show a US friend what English pub food was like - we got it very wrong! Staff are friendly and helpful, however the kitchen must have been experiencing a bad night! The wild boar sausages were burnt, and two out of five dishes arrived ten minutes after the first, and were stone cold... More

I am such a stickler for service and this place got top marks! Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food, the best pie I've ever tasted, gorgeous wine choices, perfect temperature, music level, staff attentiveness, so polite, informative and the perfect meal for our romantic getaway! Have recommended wildly and already planning a return visit! Great Job!

Chintzy, Country House feel, good food, friendly staff, but slow service. 2 sittings on a Sunday lunch. 12 and 2.30, second sitting was 2/3rds full plus outside tables. Parking . Full of obvious local regulars, so is doing something good. Good lunch out on sunny Sunday afternoon. Would go again

We ate at the "Lass" five times during our three week stay in Richmond and enjoyed our food each time, from the simple hamburger plate or fish and chips to the Sunday roast meal! Service was always efficient and friendly, the DNA beer (a "hybrid" Brit-American beer) was a delightful treat, and the restaurant was close to the bus stop... More

Was a little bit disappointed with this pub. Looked lovely but the menu was a bit short on choice for me. Took ages to choose something and opted for fish and chips. Can't complain about the food, it was fine but thought £40 for two mains and a couple of drinks was a bit pricey for nothing special and quite... More

Having had a massive walk in Richmond park, my parter, dog & me we ambled into The Lass & found the staff welcoming, the atmosphere warm and cosy and the other patrons friendly. The food was cooked well and did what it said in the tin, so to speak. Dogs were very welcome and The Lass had all the hallmarks... More

The Lass is a friendly pub on the edge of Richmond Park, so the perfect place for a pre or post park visit. A varied menu and everything we sampled was prepared with care.

Went here for Sunday lunch. We arrived too early for our reservation so sat at an outside table and had some drinks while waiting. The beer was excellent, some of the best Youngs Special I have ever had. So good I stuck with it for lunch rather than switching to wine. The dining area is large and was packed with... More
