Outstanding!

My hubby and I ate here about a month whilst on a weekend away. From the moment we walked through the door we were warmly greeted by a lovely lady named Rachel, who I must say is a credit to your business. We received our drinks quickly and our food order was taken promptly. The food was the best... read more

because when we went April 24th everything was fab. We took 2 friends who love Indian food and for the 1st time in my life, I witnessed the disappearance of everything on our table which was edible. The comments from our friends as we later had a nightcap at home? ''Extremely good and the staff are so friendly and efficient''... More

We went to the buffet eat and much as you like. The starters are served at your table then for the mains you serve yourself. There were several curry dishes available to cover all curry needs from mild to spicy and vegetarian options too. To currys are some of the best I have had for a long while. We have... More

We started with some beautiful fresh poppadoms and great chutneys... We were expecting good things... I had Chana Pallak which was very tasty, spicy but delicious. The rice was good but the naan was cool and a bit flabby. The other main was Pathia which was disappointing, and the Tarka Daal was thin but tasty. Overall, a good meal, which... More

We've eaten here before and it was great - we could see why they'd won awards etc. We weren't in the buffet, we were eating in the restaurant. So it wasn't a cheap night out. This time whilst the food was great, the service was awful. It was a busy Saturday night and there were 8 of us - but... More

But this time was the worst service that I have ever seen in... More

Visited Asha Balti on the off chance with no prior knowledge other than being rated 7th on the TA list. For a £10 buffet the food was exceptional value for money. For that, you get pompadoms and 3 dips (riata, mango chutney & onions), starter of 4 different standard Indian options, nan bread and 5 different main courses with a flavoured... More

Hey Been to Asha Balti House - 4 times earlier and service at the restaurant was never an issue. This time around they have started a "buffet - all you can eat". The decree was "let's try this". This is distinctly meat eater oriented and does not really cater to vegetarians. I asked the waiter about this and he seemed... More
