Visited this buffet restaurant this evening being the first time I have had Indian food. Staff were extremely helpful and explained each dish to me. The food was excellent and enjoyed by myself and my husband and if in the area again we will return to sample further dishes. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Since the first time i visited Ty Asha i had always been skeptical of Indian cuisine, but let me tell you i am addicted to the menu location and ambiance of this restaurant. the friendly staff treat each customer with such a high standard of care and all the food is to die for an explosion of taste in ones... We were staying locally & this place was recommended. With a young child with us we ordered a takeaway instead. The person taking the order was rude, really impatient with me when placing the order & interrupting me saying things like "you're ordering one rice between all of you?!" I wasn't, he had just interrupted mid order. But even if... More

What a delightful find in the middle of a sleepy little town. The place has won many awards for its dishes as the best Indian food in Wales...and quite rightly so. Although I have tasted better curries, these were different and quite unique. There was a £1.50 extra charge for having local Welsh lamb and not imported cheap rubbish...and my... More

After visiting this restaurant on a reccomendation. We were greeted by a waitress who firstly got our name wrong, then we were told to wait whilst she checked for our table. The waitress then from the bar area with a jerk of her head (not a please would you like to follow me) took us to our table and gave us... More

As regulars of the restaurant over several years, we now enjoy the buffet next door. The food and service tonight were excellent. It's great to choose just what you fancy, and how much, and the quality of the cooking is first class. We are likely to be regulars here, so I hope the range of dishes on offer will vary... More

No wonder this place has won awards. Having eaten so many average curries that taste the same in so many take always that look the same, my expectations were not very high. However, the food was 1st class but more detail on that in a while. The shop is in three parts, Restaurant, Take Away and Buffet. We poked our... More

Special get-together birthday meal and was told award winning restaurant but definitely not the standard we were expecting. Believe they had just opened a self-service buffet next door and on busy Saturday night..ONE kitchen was serving the restaurant, takeaway & buffet. Booked table for 7. Had poppadum starters & asked for main order at 7.30. EVENTUALLY got our main meal... More

Having noticed this 'award-winning' restaurant whilst staying near Llanrwst we decided we must try it, being a group who like our curry. First of all our waiter acted quite bizarrely throughout the entire evening, not rude exactly, but making weird comments, sometimes about our menu choices, knocking things over etc, basically making us feel uncomfortable. When the food arrived it... More
