we were recommended the grove by the theatre staff, decided to have the pre theatre menu, as we were running late. The starter garlic mushrooms was first class, but found the main courses of pork chop which my husband had and gammon steak at bit bland, the vegetables of carrots and peas showed little imagination and my chips were very... Altho' living reasonably local, this was our first visit to The Grove Bistro, but hopefully it will not be our last. The menu was quite extensive, and varied, but when it arrived ,you somehow had the feeling it was prepared exclusively for you,and this was certainly borne out when we finished dining. The service was prompt, and the young lady who was serving was so helpful.

We always head for The Grove when in Weston to have lunch. Ideally situated a short distance from the busy town, it is a first rate haven of peace and quiet, serving excellent home cooked food, in terms of quality, range of dishes, service, and value via the Specials menu. Although we have yet to sample the evening menu, the... More

On a short break we were fortunate to discover with friends, The Grove Bistro. We enjoyed our meals so much that we returned on the second evening. Very reasonable prices for good quality food. We have already decided to return when next in the area.

Popped in during a business lunch for a business meeting, nothing seemed to be much trouble and gave a service that suited our requirement perfectly. Highly recommended, food was delicious And the service and atmosphere made it complete.

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere that was still serving at 9pm! What a great little place. Superb menu, lovely food, a waitress with a personality, great wine. We couldn't fault it. It was great to be served good food in a cosy bistro type restaurant with excellent front of house staff. Well done

Found this little bistro by chance while passing on a weekend break in Weston. They do a superb £11.50 two course menu, the food service and staff were all 100% and will definitely return if in the area again.

Dined here yesterday lunchtime. We were just the second couple to arrive and waited nearly 40 mins for main course to be served up. 2 Simple dishes, my wife had a mushroom omelette and i had the 'Super Ploughmans'. The chips with the omelette were awful, undercooked and very dry, my wife left them, inedible. The ham with the ploughmans... More

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your recent visit to The Grove Bistro. Once again I need to ask why you did not complain to the waiting staff at the time of your visit, you were checked on and asked at the end of your meal, but according to the waitress everything was alright. We train the staff... More
