Very tasty food, friendly staff

very tasty food and the staff is very friendly. We searched the menu online before booking, but as we found out later it was an old menu that was not updated on their site. So don't expect to eat what you have read online. There were enough choices though. Kids friendly although no kids menu they... read more

I celebrated my 50th birthday at the Oak & Glass with friends and family. What can I say, excellent food, fantastic venue and incredibly attentive staff who looked after our party of 28 guests and made sure we had a great evening.

I booked afternoon tea for eight adults and five children as a surprise for my husbands 70th birthday. The children were all pre-school (4 and 23 months) We had a room to ourselves and a beautifully prepared and presented tea. The children had their own "plainer" tea with sandwiches, crisps, crudités, rocky road, biscuits and squash. Tea and coffee were... More

I went here for lunch with 3 friends that I used to work with. I happened to be eating out in the evening as well that day, so I just had a sandwich. It had an unusual combination of ingredients in it (Brie, houmous & pesto being just 3 of them!) but they worked together extremely well. In fact I... More

Just visited, lovely Sunday lunchtime meal. £22.00 for 3 courses, lots of choice and beautifully cooked. Very good service and a warm welcome. First time visited and well worth a trip for something a bit special rather than the usual £10.00 carvery which has been prepared and kept warm for hours. Really recommend it as a place to try.

We wanted to try this place for quite some time but unless you book ahead you are likely not to get in. Very nice Sunday lunch and had that 'special' feeling about it. Off away from the normal seafront area so you won't see much passing trade but worth the effort

The Oak and Glass restaurant is by far the best restaurant in Weston-super-Mare. I've not eaten in many restaurants in Bristol but it tops the ones that I have dined in there too. I've eaten here many times and haven't been disappointed at all. The wine list is extensive and the menu that changes with the seasons is outstanding. I've... More
