After hesitation looking at the front door, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior and cool roof lighting. Smily service took our order and our cream tea was soon to follow. The scones were warm and massive. They tasted as good as they looked and to make it perfect, Dr. Fox do not skimp on jam and clotted cream. I... More

This is a really great place to go and have a drink. The coffee is good, and so is the cake. It is far enough out of the main drag not to be too busy. Great view over the bay.

Lovely little tearoom to rest from the wind and rain when the husband is out and about on his jetski!

A great location for a tea room at the end of Knightstone Pier, especially when the weather is good enough to sit outside. We favour the excellent home made cakes and tea, though the menu includes savoury dishes as well. There's a couple of comfy sofas by the fire too. Toilets good, with changing facilities and space for buggy/scooter manoeuvring.... More

Dr Fox is in an enviable position in that on a nice day you can sit outside with a wonderful view across the bay. The food is very good at a reasonable price.

Visited here as a party of two with a pre arranged booking for the winter tea. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The afternoon tea arrived soon after, we could see it being freshly made in the kitchen. It consisted of fresh turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches, warm mince pie and cream and slice of festive cake,... More

I have made a couple of recent visits. The gluten free mincemeat and marzipan cake was lovely. While there I was interested to read about the history of Knightstone Island and look at the pictures on the walls of this interesting cafe.

Have been a few times before and it was really nice. This time it was such a shame to see that it had become so scruffy with grubby table cloths and junk all over the place. Staff were off hand and needed to smarten up a bit. Food was awful. I had a jacket potato and the tuna and sweet... More
