Now ran by Lynn & Richard formerly of the Flute De Paris. We enjoyed a fillet steak meal for 2 with an excellent bottle of vintage wine. Thepremises is now split into two, a bar and the restaurant. I thoroughly recommend a visit here to try the new menu. We saw fresh fish being served and... read more

My family and I have been here many times, and often bring family and friends here when they come to visit. The staff are very friendly, and the food is always well done. Wonderful sea views in the day time, and a lovely fire going in the winter evenings. The decor is not particularly up to date, and it's not... More

Where to go in Weston? - Always a difficult question when the family ask to go out and eat. Since discovering this little gem of a pub/restaurant...the question no longer poses a problem! Lovely friendly staff, delicious food, really reasonable priced for the quality of food. Thank you Captain's Cabin!! Ps...not sure what the people below are going on about...must... More

Never have I had such an awful meal in a run down establishment of a pub, never again would I pay a penny to this place and give a penny to the staff here. Waitress messing with their nose and serving food, chef looking like a tramp this place should be shut down with immediate effect!!?

We recently visited The Captains Cabin for lunch with our two daughters. We hadn't been there for a few years but we had heard that the couple who used to run the Flute De Paris in Oxford street had taken it over. This being our favourite restaurant we were sad when it closed, so when we heard that Richard and... More

I went here last week with a friend for lunch. I have not tried The Captain's Cabin before but it was recommended so we thought we'd give it a try. It was lovely, warm and welcoming when we entered with a real log fire burning. We sat in the restaurant which overlooks the sea and thought we'd try the lunch... More

Visited the captains cabin last night for the first time. Used to go to the flute where the food was good and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. The pub has a welcoming feel and a lovely fire was burning . Lyn was very welcoming as she always used to be. I'm afraid Richard is as sullen as ever. Lyn... More

Lovely place, the owners are friendly and food is delciious. Be warned though a large glass of house red wine was £6! Apart from that the food was excellent and good value most meals under £12 with the exception of steak. But my other half said the steak was worth it, definitely a place worth trying - we'll be back.... More
