Lunch

Great open space and lovely light atmosphere. Lovely friendy staff. Some great ideas also if your into pallet building for furniture, inside and out. Nice wee selection of wine, tea and coffee for sale as well as some good local products. Enjoy

We keep coming back here. There is a wide choice for most people, I have the impression they are passionate about what they do. They even brew their own beer. Once my husband was disappointed with the beer and there was no problem replacing it, with an explanation about what type of beer it was and what he might like.... More

Locally sourced , wholesome food. Great service, lovely atmosphere, and fantastic views across the countryside from the big picture windows. The bread is made fresh on the premises daily, and is delicious. Love the imaginative salads!

They have some very good food but do not know how to deal properly with customers. It was not easy to get in from thje disabled parking. A dog was tied to railoing blocking the way and when told they did nothing about it. They had been told in advance there was a vegan but had already parted with the... More

Ate here as part of a group last week for a festive meal. Special menu contained delicious delights including Great Glen salami with pickled oranges; salmon and halibut baked in a paper parcel with ginger and lemon grass, and not only a duo but also a trio of tempting desserts. Each course was not only really tasty, but beautifully presented... More

Pleasant surroundings, great service, interesting setting, no rush. Met here for coffee and business discussion. Cheese scones fresh from the oven with melted butter were very more-ish. Good place to catch up with old pals and network.

Buchanan's was a haven of calm and peace on a blustery night. The atmosphere was just lovely as we ate our way through what can only be described as delicious but unusual menu. Staff are the friendliest ever.

This is a lovely spot during the day and we thought we'd try it for dinner. We love the decor and the furnishings and the Scandanavian, artsy atmosphere. The food is interesting and delicious and there are good wines. Added to that, fantastic bottled beer is also made there! It was a Sunday evening and quiet, but once the lights... More

Have eaten here a few times and it has never let us down. This visit was before a music event at the Woodend Barn. Both meal and event were excellent, we had a great night all washed down by a few good Beers, what's not to like.
