Description: Woods Cafe is a beautiful cottage cafe in the middle of Cardinham Woods. Open all year round, we serve warming home-made stews and soups in the winter and doorstop sandwiches with an ever changing specials menu throughout the summer. The cream teas are fantastic and the cakes are always fresh. We try to use local produce and suppliers where possible.

We visited Cardinham Woods 4 times on our fortnight holiday and each time couldn't resist the Café! With 2 adults and 3 kids we spent quite a bit over the 4 visits but truthfully, it was worth it. If you're in a hurry don't bother as this is exactly what it's meant to be - relaxing. In a beautiful setting... More

We were recommended this lovely cafe by the staff at nearby Carnglaze Caverns. The cream tea was delicious, with lovely fresh scones, we also shared a savoury cream tea which was inspired! Cheesy scones with lovely local cheese, soft cheese and chutney. We had three small dogs with us and there was plenty of dog water available. I would recommend... More

We had THE best cream tea EVER today at this little gem of a roadside cafe/restaurant. I don't normally eat scones (as they're normally masquerading as rusks) - the reviews made me do it!! They were delicious!!

The best Cream Tea we've had. The tea is grown locally in Cornwall and tastes really good. The scones are baked each day in the cafe and are lightly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You can choose with or without fruit. We chose without and they were delicious and they warm them before serving. The jam... More

We wen t here twice in the time we were in Cornwall last year, both times we had cream teas, which were very sumptuous and satisfying, the staff were pleasant and the whole experience was just pleasant and relaxing.

Came out for a light lunch recently and was very pleased with The Woods cafe. Food was delicious and the staff friendly. Only criticism that the menu could be a little bigger and cakes seemed a little over priced. Also found it strange that we had to pay for our lunch at the beginning as opposed to receiving the bill.... More

The food here is so much better than expected! Good, simple, delicious cooking. Excellent choice for families. The fire was very welcome after a cold walk!

We had one day left in Cornwall and hadn't had a really good cream tea yet. The Woods Cafe came up on a Google search and was only about 5 mins from where we were staying at St Benets Abbey in Lanivet. Hard to find, especially on a motorbike, but so worth it! Delicious cream tea in a lovely setting.... More
