Really really nice afternoon tea

We used a voucher for an afternoon tea and were delighted with the outcome. Some quiche nibbles, a variety of sandwiches and slices of cake, many and various - and scones with jam and cream. The blueberry preserve was particularly delicious. Too much to eat in one sitting so a take-home box was... read more

Rainy Sunday morning brightened by the team @ Rustic and the fantastic potato cakes and sandwiches (on really fresh bread!) will most definitely be returning.

Not just your average coffee shop menu. Caters to all tastes, fresh tasty produce, great breakfasts. Love that the feel of the place is very personal, like friends having you for lunch.

You always get a warm welcome although you may not always get a seat as it is a small, very popular place. The coffee is lovely and the food is generally very good with some imaginative dishes and cakes on offer.

I clicked yes to 'best meal I've ever had in a restaurant', not because it is, but because it's one of the best meals I have had in a café/tearoom/coffeehouse. Fabulous home made wholesome fayre, with interesting combinations (the matador homemade crumpet with chorizo, spinach, cherry tomatoes and poached egg is just genius). Very helpful and friendly staff, great quality... More

We ate here at lunch time and we absolutely loved the sandwiches! We had the 15 hour slow roasted pork (special) and the bacon, mushroom and brie. You are offered a choice of bread that is homemade so we both had green olive focaccia. The other choices were white, brown, black olive focaccia and flat bread. The cafe is small... More

I have been to rustic many times and this is the first time I have had their afternoon tea, it was fantastic, lots of different sandwiches and a piece of all their cakes. Finished by one of their gorgeous blueberry scones and homemade jam.
