I have eaten in the restaurant last year and it was fine but this meal was served outside. The menu was limited but all 7 of us were disappointed. It was one of the worst meals we have ever had. Over cooked, undercooked, dry. Plus we waited ages. To be fair, a member of staff came to tell us that... More

We like the Windmill but our meal in the garden tonight was awful and very slow in coming. The fish was bland, chips semi cooked and mushy peas incinerated. The adults chicken meal was also poor. The kids chicken meal was very overdone and almost unpalatable even for hungry children. What a disappointment. I told the bar staff what we... More

Our new route to school took us by The Windmill, my son was really keen to eat there in the Summer as his school friends mum and dad run it and it ... Last night was an impromptu dinner which was a pleasure. Totally recommend for adults or children. Great hospitality, food and outdoor area .. With the best maze... More

Myself and my girlfriend recently visited this pub and were very impressed it's a beautiful looking country pub with a huge secluded beer garden ideal for families! The menu was varied with lots of choice if not a tad expensive it's definitely aimed at a certain type of clientele. We found the service excellent and th food as you would... More

We celebrated our sons wedding here on June 7th, I must admit I was rather nervous about how things were going to pan out, We as a family were wittering away about space & food and timings & tables etc etc. Abby the wedding co-ordinator/ jack of all trades was very calm ( almost too calm we thought) Happily our... Local pub, ideal for walkers, bike riders as dogs and muddy boots accepted. Children's friendly maze and outside gardens to run around in. Great food outside or in. Heaven on a sunny day!!!

My sister and I decided to treat my elderly mum to lunch. Despite the place being almost empty we were shown to a table next to a post in a very dark part of the room. The services was exceptionally slow with the waitress disappearing for long periods of time. My sister had to go and find her, to pay... More

We dined here this evening and I have to say it was the worst service I have ever received. Our starter plates were left empty on our tables for 15minutes before they got cleared. I ordered a drink which was wrong. When we asked for our bill it never came, I asked a second time and the same girl brought... More
