Excellent Deli and Cafe

We love this place and go every time we are in Macclesfield. The deli choices are wonderful and we often have lunch here too as the food is great and all freshly made. You do have to wait a bit as it is freshly made but it is worth it.

A delightful deli/cafe in the middle of the town. One is easily tempted to the many pies, cakes, cheeses etc. available here. The service is friendly and attentive. Slight drawback is the need to pass through the cooking and prep area to visit the toilet, but this only serves to highlight the high standards of cleanliness maintained. Really wonderful pies... All sorts of goodies in here too many to list but I particularly like the various interpretations of scotch eggs and the billionaire shortbread. All at sensible prices with excellent friendly service.

This place looks lovely and gives off all the right vibes of a well presented deli combined with a small coffee shop. The food is lovely and my partner and I have visited now a total of 4 times but every time we visit we leave with a bitter sweet feeling. You cannot fault what is presented both in the... More

Visit to Macclesfield recently looking for a none chain place to eat. My wife found this little gem of a place. Plenty of good, tasty fayre to choose from, cakes, sweets, afternoon tea and combinations of salad. First class service. They are in their twentieth year and still producing first class produce. Thanks, as Arnie said, " I'll be back"

Sadly, after having purchased a few bits off the deli (expensive!) previously I returned to try coffee and cake with my partner on Saturday morning. We very much wished we hadn't wasted £8. Two cups of machine coffee which didn't taste of anything but machine, cheap nasty mugs probably didn't help the taste either! and two pieces of cake one... More

I went in here and bought a brown loaf, white loaf and 5 slices of ham which wasn't cheap. The brown bread was nice but the white loaf was stale, and the ham tasted as if it had been frozen which I suspect it had been over Christmas.

We were tempted in for a brew and a cake by the huge selection of cakes, pies, pate, cheese etc which really look lovely. Queued for a while to place order of 2 drinks 2 slices of cakes. We waited, and waited, and waited... Had I not already paid, I would have just left. I couldn't see any reason for... More

A fantastic selection of cooked meats, cheese, bread, sandwiches, cakes and pastries - almost all the latter being homemade and fresh. I've gone in on my lunch-break several times since starting work here in Macclesfield, and it is usually busy. Understandably the waiting times can be quite lengthy if you are in a hurry, but the soups, sandwiches and quiches... More
