Simple, honest pub grub. But don't let that deceive you - I challenge anyone to eat there and not be satisfied. It may be "just a pub", but the care and attention paid to the food is exemplary. The menu also has something for everyone. One huge bonus: They serve pies made by the Great North Pie Company - brilliant!... More

Visited here last week with friends and family. We had a lovely evening. Service was great and the staff were extremely friendly. I highly advise the Bollington best beef pie. So tasty comes with home made chips and mushy peas and a delicious gravy. My father very much appreciated the cask ales served by the vale

An amazing venue for good food, local ale and tasty prosecco. The atmosphere was one which would suit all. The manager (Craig) was extremely attentive which added to the experience. All in all, a place to certainly pay a visit.

A friendly pub with a very relaxed atmosphere which has got the pub/dining feel just right, although the menu is not large the food on offer is very good and has a wide selection of beers and ales.

Whilst there is no doubt the beer is wonderful and the food has been great when I have eaten there, my last visit was spoilt by aggressive clenaing products being sprayed on the adjoining tables when clients had left. We were hit with a fine mist of clenaing product that left a sore throat and a bad taste - not... More

A lovely little pub in Bollington that looks out over the local village cricket green. Tucked away down an unassuming side road, I went here for lunch with work colleagues. I chose the cobbler and a side of chips, which came to a very reasonable price considering how fresh the ingredients were and how well it was cooked. There were... More

Went for Sunday lunch. Had the pork which was a large slab of fat. It was 90% wobbly fat with a tiny sliver of lean meat. Would have given it only one star but the ale (Long Hop) was beautiful, the service was good and, when I complained, at least the duty manager offered to refund my drink as compensation.

I would just like to thank all the staff and Chef at The Vale Inn for a truly excellent experience last Friday night. There were 11 of my family and friends booked in for evening meal and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the Dinner Ale was too die... More

Fantastic food, I had the vale burger and it was the best burger I have ever had. Was told by a member of staff that everything is made and prepared in house and that's why sometimes food can take a little longer than expected. Atmosphere was lovely too and also had a nice beer garden overlooking the cricket pitch.
