Was in your bar today whilst I no it was your staff need to learn more about the trade .I had to ask for cutlery sauce for which I had to wait also I noticed this with another customer.I also think that £6 for a kids meal is scandalous as it didn't even include a soft drink or ice -... More

On entering the hotel foyer you are immediately put off by the old, dull and dated decor. Upstairs the restaurant is clean, bright and airy with amazing views out over the harbour but again the decor is dated. The food, if you like everything deep fat fried, you are in for a treat! My husband ordered Classic Chicken Maryland -... More

They certainly have the best restaurant in Bangor by far, spoilt for choice, great staff! I have been to many restaurants, love eating out & can honestly say The Marine Court will always be the place I recommend to everyone!

My first impressions were the place smelt bad and it was dark and dingy. But as we had booked over the phone using our tastecard+ we decided to give it a chance. I recently spent 4 nights in this hotel so regularly ate in the restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was very good, being large portions. The menu has been stripped back since I was last here about 4 years ago but there is still a good choice. (On a personal note, I'd rather have a proper menu that... More

My wife and I have been there three times in the past 8 months and each time the food has got been worse than before. The last time we went there was a Saturday night in August, the occasion was to spend a £50 voucher received as a fathers' day gift. The reason I had kept it so long, I... More

My husband and I booked a table for ourselves and two visiting relatives for lunch in Nelson's restaurant today. We hoped to seat our guests upstairs at a window table, where they enjoy the view. To our dismay we were told that the upstairs restaurant does not open at lunch time. Ourselves and our guests found this very disappointing. To... More
