Visited the Rabbit rooms on Easter Monday. Great atmosphere in the bar downstairs/ restaurant . Staff very friendly and service excellent.... Had the large mussels in cider and bacon as a starter for 2 ..... Excellent.... Then had the full rack of ribs in bbq sauce with fries. My wife had the beef and pulled pork burger with sweet potato... More

I booked the Rabbit Rooms for an anniversary meal, largely on the basis of reviews on this site. The experience was disappointing in almost every way. The food was awful, Overcooked and dripping in grease. The staff were okay, on the very few occasions they appeared. The atmosphere was non existent. The bill, when it eventually came, was more than... More

By far, this place has the best ribs. Wednesday is the best day as it has the ribs on offer for £6.00. A full rack of melt in the mouth ribs, with choice of BBQ sauce or hot sauce, side orders of salad, coleslaw and a good size portion of chunky chips, skinny fries, garlic chips, sweet potato fries...... Fabulous.... More

The Rabbit Rooms is great for a quick drink or a sit-down lunch or dinner. Staff are lovely and service is always great. Their starter sharing platters, nachos, ribs, burgers and mussels have all been raved about by friends; for me it's the ribs. Their carbonara is excellent. The wall art is a nice distraction from the usual :)

The title says it all! I love this place and always go back when I'm in town for work. The service is always so friendly and the guys are very funny, they like to have a joke but don't push it so far as is annoying. The food is good burger grub and they'll cater to your whims if you... More

And it was excellent. Thursdays are (presently) buy one burger, get a second half price - and this was more than enough incentive to try their version of a vegetarian burger. Normally I'm not a huge fan of guacamole, but it worked really well with the double burger goodness - and the sweet potato mash was excellent for a 50p... More

Was in Bangor over the weekend 21 - 23 February. Popped into the Rabbit rooms to check out the food. Glad we did. Dinner both evenings was fantastic.

Used to like it, then went off it. Menu is the same you get anywhere else in the town, just under a different name and description, but hey, it's Bangor. What set it aside this time was the service. Spot on. Attentive and far from overbearing. Food isn't gonna win any awards for its creativity or imagination, but its clientele... More
