Great Value, Good Food

The Rabbit Rooms offers great weekly deals that make their already good food even better value for money. I am not sure how often I would go without the weekly discounts but the food, although not amazing, has never disappointed. Friendly Service

Visited Sunday for lunch. Place warm and cosy. Waitress downstairs was welcoming and ordered salad which my friend specifically mentioned ' vegetarian salad' lol and myself a well done beef burger. Food looked amazing but burger was red in middle not a biggy with quality of meat supplied these days.(tasted great btw) However my friend nearly choked upon discovering a... More

4 of us went and we all enjoyed our evening. The food is nice and reasonably priced, but it is the selection of ales that really impressed me. Ales are becoming alot more popular these days as people are looking for more than lager and the standard 3/4 beers that appear over and over again in restaurants, and the Rabbit... More

Enjoyed a meal and a couple of pints here, very enjoyable. It was midweek lunch time when I visited, so quiet, but I imagine it picks up at night/ weekends. Good spot not far from the ocean.

During a cruising trip we berth our sailing yacht in the very nice Bangor marina. From the local reviews about The Rabbit Rooms, we understood we were in the nicest restaurant in town. The quality is more Pub grub than fine dining. The tomato soup was like warm up can from the local store, and the "legendary burgers" were suitable... More

Been here a few times and always been consistently good. The staff are very friendly and provide good service. The menu is pretty basic- burgers, ribs, chicken etc but for what it offers it does well. I do think there could be a few more healthier options on offer. The atmosphere is good both upstairs and down and very relaxed.

Quick stop for lunch. Nice atmosphere - open fire and great selection of bottled beers. Food was average, both value and quality. Burger was still raw - which concerns me with mince ..... Wife had mussels - which were neither good nor bad. Portion size was fine. Perfect place for a winter drink, and if no other option presents -... More

Like other reviewers we can find very little to fault this establishment. We particularly enjoy the mussels which on Mondays are half price. Always great service and conveniently placed for access to the centre of Bangor.

By golly is this place good. Chicken wings with barbecue sauce and blue cheese dip was simply devine for for starters and then a really, really good burger. There's American diners shouting about their wings and burgers but this place would blow them out of the water. Not my normal eating habit but gorgeous just the same. I'll be back.... More

Half price mussels on a Monday and half price ribs on a Wednesday. Lovely cosy upstairs restaurant with beautiful views over the marina. Very friendly staff and great service Only slight negative is the menu is quite limited. Definitely one of my regular haunts, would recommend for a casual night out, good food and nice cocktails!! Also great live music... More
