We popped in for the half price Mussels on a Monday and were delighted by the welcome and service offered to us from the nice lady with a series of very interesting tattoos. The Mussels were great. The ambiance was quaint and peaceful.

The meal was very nice and the two male staff very attentive. The only problem was the cleanliness of of the middle retarant the venetian blinds very dirty and the room good do with a good clean and tidy up.

Staying overnight in Bangor with work and after a lovely walk along the sea front, finally decided on the Rabbit Rooms. There are a good choice of restaurants in the town but the relaxed menu and after a long walk in the sea air suited me. Also the fact it was pretty inexpensive in comparison to some of the surrounding... More

The Rabbit Rooms has been a pub/restaurant for as long as I can remember; it previously was the Black Boat and dear knows what before that. We went on Sunday night with our daughters for a belated birthday/anniversary celebration, as we had been abroad. Downstairs in the pub there was folksy/jazzy live music with a lot of younger and older... More

My wife and I spent a couple of weeks in Bangor recently. While there we enjoyed the Rabbit Rooms several times with family and newly found friends. The mussels and ribs are fantastic. And yet I, on my last night in town, had to have one of gheir hamburgers. Also very good. Thank you!

This is my favourite restaurant in Bangor and I'm a regular. Food is consistently good and portions generous. Great value for money. Quirky decor, nice ambiance and super friendly. Love the fun teapots of cocktails and great happy hour deals available. Only downside is the exterior - a real eyesore on the seafront. Unfortunately the peeling paint and sad appearance... More

A surprise pleasure. An unpredisposing entrance to the first floor restaurant. Seated with a view over the marina this is a good spot to chill. Service efficient and friendly. Monday evening the Mussel pot was half price so not a hard choice. For main I went to the burger selection and picked the Messi burger. Definitely a recommendation as great... More

Was here for a spot of lunch while doing some shopping in Bangor. The food was good, the burgers were very good, as were the chips. Nice atmosphere and staff. Recommend visiting. Some dishes on the menu can be slightly pricey.
