Great Food

Was in Bangor over the weekend 21 - 23 February. Popped into the Rabbit rooms to check out the food. Glad we did. Dinner both evenings was fantastic.

Used to like it, then went off it. Menu is the same you get anywhere else in the town, just under a different name and description, but hey, it's Bangor. What set it aside this time was the service. Spot on. Attentive and far from overbearing. Food isn't gonna win any awards for its creativity or imagination, but its clientele... More

Dropped in for lunch with friends. Very pleased as they have special offers on every day of the week ( buy one get one half price). Pleasant, helpful staff with lovely open fire.

Great good - love their pulled pork burger and sweet potato fries. Small bar downstairs which is always packed at weekends with a good atmosphere and plenty of buzz.

Went for a family birthday. Service was excellent and staff seemed to enjoy their job. Food was good and suited to all ages of family. Cold evening in December and our spirits were lifted in this cosy friendly bar/restaurant.

I visited this interesting bar on Bangor's seafront last week and, although I didn't get to eat there, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and interesting decor. I've never seen grass on a bathroom ceiling before! Although we didn't have a chance to eat there I hear good reviews from family and friends about the food. My daughters enjoyed a couple... More
