A Grower: Relaxing atmosphere & more spacious layout

I thought it was well overdue another review after my 2009 one (my trip advisor debut!) and I definitely feel Red Berry has grown on me significantly. As someone who can only return to visit family and friends in Bangor, it definitely appears that it has established itself as a favourite of my... read more

Called in here off the street on a Saturday trip to Bangor. It was quite busy which is a good sign . Seating downstairs and upstairs. Has comfy sofas to chill on and a reading area, plus tables to dine . We sat upstairs as no seats on the bottom floor. Had a good view of the boat harbour across... More

Great opportunity to drop in for a good coffee in Bangor. Hot chocolates and marshmallows were a hit with the kids. Good quality wifi too for travellers.

My first time in Bangor and I had read the great reviews so I was expecting great things. Perhaps I was expecting too much. Was just ok. Had to clear my own table away and asked for it to be wiped. The food was ok - coffee nothing special - and not sure I would go back.

Took my son out for lunch to celebrate the end of exams. Our order was taken quickly at the counter, the staff were very helpful and attentive. Our food arrived within 10 minutes and we were delighted with our choices.. My son had the pulled pork and I had a prawn open, both were delicious and the portions were ample!... More

For a while now the Red Berry has been my favourite cafe in Bangor, and perhaps my favourite place to grab a coffee or have some "cafe type" food in general! Located at the bottom of Main Street in Bangor across from queen’s parade and the marina, this little gem of a coffee shop is ideal for a bite to... More

This is the first time my brother and I had coffee in this lovely coffee shop and we were very impressed. Although we only had a coffee, the cakes and tray bakes were very temping. The next time we come back, we'll sample some of the food and cakes on offer
