Went recently for a quick bite and my mum and I both ordered homemade burgers which were very tasty. Huge portion including side order! Burger came with choice if toppings, I had blue cheese and onion and some red onion marmalade on the side with coleslaw and lettuce too. Good atmosphere and waitress was bubbly. The only thing I would... More

The good. The food was delicious, myself and my partner popped in after work for a bite to eat and a cocktail to celebrate a promotion. We are young professionals and we enjoy warm restaurant with a quirky twist. We got both in abundance. It was a nice atmosphere and the staff were pleasant. The bad. The seats were not... More

The Jamaica Inn sits right on the edge of the Bangor coastline with brilliant views from the beer garden out into Belfast Lough and Carrickfergus. It is also very pleasant inside with traditional Irish pub interior. The food and service where both very good with the menu having a large rang of dishes from steak sandwiches to fresh salads. We had a meal here on Sunday evening May 5th and I must say that it was excellent all round. Very friendly staff who were efficient and welcoming without being too formal. Good food at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere and....what a view! We'll be back!

I had a late lunch here recently with my partner and we really enjoyed it. We sat in side by the window and enjoyed the lovely view. The decor of the restaurant is very nice and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the scampi and it came with a choice of side and also garden peas. The... More

Visited Jamaica Inn for lunch today, restaurant was about 60% full between 1 and 2pm. I just went for a light bites of Nachos with chilli beef and my wife went for Salmon cakes. My nachos were delicious and just the right amount. My wifes salmon cakes came well presented on a bed of salad the only complaint was there... More
