Sunday lunch for 10

My family enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch in Cafe 19. We had various dishes including roast meats, fish and chips, steaks and pizza. Food and service was very good. Only downside was staff refused to accept Northern Ireland sterling banknotes. 4 of the family had travelled from Northern Ireland so... read more

Saturday lunch with the girls - light lunch of half a Tuscany pizza with salad and home made coleslaw and a couple of glasses of house white - my absolute favourite lunch - excellent service and good company

Splendid small cafe/restaurant. For a lunchtime baguette it's nigh-on unbeatable. Warmly recommended on a bright winter's day.

Went on Saturday evening with friends. Food was very good- grilled sea bass, fish and chips, sirloin steak all served with very good chips. Wine excellent value for money and scrummy desserts especially the crepes with banana, pecans and butterscotch sauce. Atmosphere is great and service is friendly but professional. Very good value for money, definitely worth a visit

When we arrived I was told off for finding my own seat. Admittedly there was a sign but I didn't see it ( my fault) we were then shown to the same table I had just gone to sit at. There were 3 or 4 tables with reserved on them which I thought unusual for a cafe. We ordered our... More

I love this place - it has great food and a lovely atmosphere. The only downside is that it gets quite busy so there's often a wait for food at lunchtime. It's always worth it though! We're both vegetarian and on this visit we had the goat's cheese and grilled vegetable stack, with roast new potatoes, tomato sauce and basil... More

Meals are very good and plenty of variety the only thing is the big chips that are so dry they are hard to digest. The mash is very nice but does not go with lots of meals. If they had sautéed potatoes or crispy chips we would visit more often. We visit at least twice a week so very much... More

Good varied menu, nicely presented and politely served by attentive staff. Well worth a visit after a refreshing walk along the beach .

Went there with my partner on Sunday. My Welsh lamb was undercooked, this wasn't stated on the menu that it would be rare and I have honestly never had rare welsh lamb (I am also Welsh so know how it should be cooked) I complained to the waitress who promptly took it away and then brought it back 5 minutes... Had a lovely late lunch here. Was very busy and had a short wait for a table, which was fine. We had been warned that it is very popular so we were prepared! Childrens meals were very reasonable and they really enjoyed it, especially the milk with chocolate sprinkles. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldnt manage a dessert but... More
