Very small car park but plenty of ‘on road’ parking nearby. Very friendly staff, [although the publican is handing over to a relative in the future] menu changed daily, Gastro pub prices but served without delay, fresh and hot. No basic lager or cider on tap [for instance Fosters or Strongbow not available on tap] a good selection of beers... More

We have been to the Bucks Head many times over the years and we nearly always go on a Thursday or Friday because of the fresh fish which they get from a local supplier. I always opt for a tail end piece of Haddock and being the philistine I am, as I don't like peas, Helen the landlady always ensures... More

Met friends here for Sunday lunch after one of them found a card for it in her drawer, she had never been but thought we would give it a go & glad we did. Nice atmosphere, , very pretty setting, very friendly bunch of ladies serving & really nice food. Two of our group went for the Sunday roast which... More

We have been twice for Sunday lunch. As previous reviews mention, booking is essential. The clientele seems to be made up of a lot of 'locals' but we were made welcome. Food very good and prices not bad for this area.

The Bucks head at Godden Green lies a mile or two to the east of Sevenoaks and is handy for golfers from Wildernesse and Knole Park as well as visitors to Knole House and other historic attractions in the area. Our party of 20 was well looked after with most enjoying the freshly cooked battered haddock, chips and peas. Our... More

Friendly staff, good selection of food at lunchtime on the specials board, we chose chicken, ham and leek pie, it came piping hot with mashed potatoes and peas. The pub is in a very rural setting. Handy for Knole which we visited afterwards.

We visited this pub on a Saturday afternoon with our two toddlers, as they were both thirsty and hungry after the long walk in Knole park. We was told at the bar, the kitchen closes at 2pm so we couldn't order any food, I explained polity the children were hungry, could I order just a plate of chips for them,... More

Great service, lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. The burger was most definitely one of the best we've ever tried. We also had to ask for ice cream as a meal for our little boy who was being grouchy, nothing was a problem. Thank you for a lovely meal.

I'm without a doubt a lifelong foodie, I've been lucky enough to eat at several three star Michelin star restaurants so I like to think I have a l reasonably cultured palate. The Bucks Head is an absolute find , my wife and I have visited many, many, times and are always impressed with the quality of the pub food... More
