The King's Arms is in a good spot on the prom, almost opposite Eric's statue. We're exiled Lancaster people, living in Hampshire, and like to visit the area for a week or so every year. It was lunchtime on a Friday, and we were just having a wander round, and were passing the King's Arms. Had a look at the... More

We liked the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. Food so-so but what you'd expect from basic pub grub... no complaints. We sat outside it and watched the Seafront Festival Firework show. Impressive.

To sum it up, we were camping nearby with our dog for a week. We ate here 4 times and enjoyed everytime, they don't allow dogs inside which is fair enough however its very comfortable sitting outside in July. Draught Lager very well kept and solid good pub grub. One thing though please sort out that 1 wobbly outside table!

We called in for lunch and ordered a typical pub lunch which we really enjoyed and was certainly good value for money . The staff were really good and very helpful. There were lots of offers on the menu with something for all. Drinks were average price with the cocktails being quite cheap. We will certainly be visiting again

Visited on Saturday 15th June, this was our second vist, if it had been our first there wouldn't have been a second!! I ordered the "pub favourite" fish and chips, only the rest of the fish fingers where missing. The piece of battered fish was tiny no biger than a battered fish finger, I know it was a cheaper option... More

Went for a meal here with some friends and reviews were mixed. In my opinion the food is very good for the prices charged. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere great. If you want high class cuisine, please feel free to go and order it. If you want honest 'pub grub' at extremely good prices, then... More
