Good food

The honey tree is well presented and very friendly staff who take your order, then serve your food then leave you to enjoy, the only thing we find is that the food lacks a little colour it can look a little anaemic ,but tastes good.

Decent meal, attentive speedy service without being overbearing, mixed veg included good amount of chinese vegetable (pakchoi, lotus root) not just normal UK veg, fresh flavours. Would visit again.

Visited on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was empty, this should have rung alarm bells with me but I was sucked in by the "All you can eat" menu. The mixed starter consisted of deep fried battered items obviously designed to fill you up so you wouldn't eat too much of the main courses, a standard trick. I don't regard... More

excellent authentic food, served in a very cosy atmosphere. Did not book a table but was found a one within a few minutes. Service was superb and we were not rushed even though the restaurant was full throughout. Good value for money too, would be happy to return if ever in Morecambe again.

Our first and last visit to the Honey Tree, it was awful. Service was a shambles, having waited two hours for the main course to be served we found that they had forgotten two orders. When the food did arrive it was poor quality. It seems we were there on the same evening as the reviewers Linda G and bayranger... More

We booked a table for two for Saturday night of the Easter weekend. On arrival we could see that the restaurant was packed to the brim. Our table was stuck next to a pillar near the bar, wasn't ideal as we were constantly having to 'breath in' so staff and other customers could squeeze past. We ordered our starters and... More

5 of us went Saturday night (with reservation), it was awful. The food was lukewarm at best, only 3 of the 5 dishes turned up, as the kitchen got the order mixed up. Nobody came back to check on drinks so we went thirsty as well. The excuse by one of the staff was "they were very busy". What made... More

Took advantage of a £30.00 food voucher from the local newspaper and expected the standard of food and service to be the same as the normal service, if not better as you might think they would try to impress you to encourage further visits. My wife and I ordered two mixed starters which although were £5.25 each the two combined... More

If you visit The Honey Tree go hungry as the portions of what we ordered were huge. There is an extensive menu and various offers for differant times. The mussels in satay sauce is a fantastic starter.
