We went to this Fish and Chip Restaurant in October over half term as this had said it had won awards.. The service was slow which we don't mind if the food is good, however this was not the case.. We all had medium size fish and chips which came with chips and peas, bread and butter. The size of... More

Called on way home from Whitby, absolutely top drawer fish and chips, big portions friendly staff and a decent brew as well. Would recommend

Probably my fourth visit, excellent as always. Quick & friendly service, good choice of food, hard to fault it. But check opening times though, they're not open late

Visited once during our stay to Pickering. Food was really good, most of the party had the traditional fish & chips, while I had their home made fishcakes, which were great! Well worth a visit!

Lovely, a bit of a wait but well worth it. The best cod and chips we have had in a long time. You can sit in or take away,

I had the seafood platter. It was the dearest thing on the menu £9.99 but wow was it worth it. Mountainous pile of prawns, different kinds of mackerel, trout, giant prawns, lovely interesting salad, homemade tartar and seafood sauces. Only negative was bread roll which was stale. Would recommend to anyone!

As we live in Pickering we may be a bit biased but honestly I haven't tasted better wherever I've been. Whether you eat in or take them home you be hard pressed to find better tasting or fresher fish and chips. Oh and the portions are big so beware, don't think about the calories, just think about the value for... More

Ate here last week after a lovely day out on the steam railway. We were hungry so we chose the medium sized portions of haddock and scampi. Both were delicious, the batter being light but not greasy and excellent value. The restaurant was clean with a downstairs toilet and the staff very friendly and efficient even though it was towards... More
