Have eaten here previously, but this time was not so good, service poor, food lukewarm, and they charge for tap water. Will not be going back.

We turned up without a reservation and were seated promptly (there were plenty of empty seats). When the food arrived from the set menu it was average although the mixed appetisers were the best in our opinion. Not somewhere that we would rush back to if we lived in the area, fortunately we were on holiday. As remarked in other... More

We have been here a few times since it opened. The staff are very friendly, but sadly the food is not as good as it used to be and is very exepensive.

The place is very easy to find but had just changed its name to Ocean Garden, but has kept the taste of food. Bit quiet and not many table were booked. We went for 18/person set meal, had the mixed starter, crispy duck and four dishes as main course, total satisfied with the food, I think the dishes were fantastic.... More

Went to the Summer Palace for an evening meal with my wife. We really enjoyed it. The food was piping hot and very tasty. We particularly enjoyed the Hot and Sour Soup - but beware because it is quite spicy! We then had the Set Meal for 2 (B) @ £17 per head - good value. Mixed Starters, Crispy Duck... More

We had the all you can eat menu option where you order your dishes which are freshly prepared for you and when you finish you order another etc until full. We only knew about this though as had been before 2 years ago did have to specifically ask as it wasn't mentioned to us. Each portion was helpfully small so... More

We have been going to the summer palace for a couple years and always found the food to be ok. The staff are very friendly and they are in a good location in saundersfoot. Recently we bought a takeaway that cost £18.80 and after checking the menu the real cost should have been £15.30. We are frequent visitors to saundersfoot... More

Having seen reviews on Trip Advisor and being big Chinese fans we thought we'd try the Summer Palace rather than one of the un-reviewed resturants in Tenby. The food was very nice (not as nice as some near home but...) and the staff were very accomodating. We changed a dish on a set menu and were still allowed to keep... More

Me and my girlfriend was spending a weekend in Pembrokshire and looking for good value restaurants. We came across Summer Palace by chance and decided to give it a go. We were offered al carte menue or eat as much as you like menu. We opted for the eat as much as you like menu. The food has very good... More

We ordered a takeaway from here on our first night in Saundersfoot and were pleasantly suprised-the meal was nice but not up to the standard of our local chinese at home. The restaurant was busy when we went in and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We tried several of the dishes including chow meins, ribs, curry, rices... More
