We have twice had breakfast there. It is a buffet style full English breakfast for nine pounds which is good value. On the first occasion we arrived at the buffet counter to discover that all but the fried eggs had run out, and we had a considerable wait for newly cooked food to arrive. On the second occasion, a year... More

Nice, big, comfortable restaurant and well patronised even on a Monday lunchtime. The menu is fairly extensive and the food presentable and adequate in proportion. A place for regular rather than special occasion eating, at a reasonable price.

My wife and I ordered our meal, didn't arrive. Others meals arrived that came in after us. Had to ask where it was. When it did it was terrible. I had steak pie with what was supposed to be pastry but it sure wasn't that and the steak had a funny taste. Several times we had to ask staff for... More

We had an evening meal in this lovely pub/restaurant and it was delicious and great value for money we all had different meals and all were excellent. We had a few bottles of wine with the meal and I think the wine cost less than a tenner a bottle. It was only after we had eaten we realised that there... More

Arrived with the kids and were seated straight away. Staff at bar , buffet area and table service were all pleasant and genuinely smiling when dealing with us. Relaxing surroundings and although busy...seemed calm and private . Chicken feast night is one of the themes throughout the week and my youngest daughter was given expert advice on what was on... Two for £10 and fast service as well as quality. Greeting was pleasant and service was really fast. However Carlinng was not the best - or maybe I was not thirsty enough.

Just the usual Brewers Fare food, I have the mixed grill which was good, the steak was a little over done but hey, for £11 who's complaining. My wife had the Lamb shank and said it was also really nice.

This is a chain, but our first one. The food is average, but relatively inexpensive so easy on a family's budget.
