BrewDog

I don't know about Drouthy's, but it has been turned over to a BrewDog bar which was fabulous. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they have 15 different beers on draft and they do serve the tactical nuclear penguin, a 32% strong beer... Great atmosphere, would recommend.

Neebor's was always OK for meeting friends for a pint etc, nothing special though always found the staff friendly. However Drouthy Neebors has now closed to be replaced with a Brew Dog which I have't had occasion to visit so far, so probably not worth expanding on a review for now!

Change of operator with BrewDog open from 27 November 2015. Craft beers at over 4% gravity and over £4 per pint. About 10 draft beers on offer including one lager and two black beers. Company has good name but might find it hard to compete with Wetherspoons (almost next door) where draft beer is about £2.40 per pint. Just open... More

We were in Stirling for the day and found the Drouthy and decided to have lunch there when we saw they had Scottish tapas on the menu. There was a set price for 3 or for 5, we took the 5 and there was an awful lot of food. Scotch eggs, Black pudding and cheese, mushrooms, sausages and haggis bon... More

A must!!! We had Scottish tapas, all traditional dishes with a twist, black pudding, haggis, scotch egg, sticky sausages, beautiful! Then a very naughty dessert... Fried mars bar and ice cream..no guilt, just pleasure!!! Def worth a visit.

Lovely lunch after walking down from the Castle, sitting near the window to people watch. Local beers on draught and meat pies and chips for lunch.

Loved the haggis served here, and the service was friendly. Enjoyed the featured music from the "Red Hot Chilli Pipers", and the interior was comfortable and accommodating. We haven't tasted the deep-fried Mars bar but will have to come back next time we're in Stirling!

Despite the odd signage, this pub was very clean and neat inside. The bartender/server/owner worked like crazy -- I don't know how he handled that many tables with one guy and no delays. The food was very food and quick service. I'd go again.

Had a meal here while staying overnight in Stirling quite a good choice on the menu unfortunately both items I ordered were not available. Food was good and well presented with good service and pleasant staff.
