Nice enough place, but most of the beer was in bottles. And nothing really local. Not what we expected.

This is by no means an average or standard Witherspoons pub, (nothing derogatory implied). Although, I believe, owned by them it has a completely individual atmosphere and approach. A large degree of autonomy operates here and the menu is individual and way beyond normal Witherspoons fare. Also so is the service and friendliness of the staff. The staff are pro-actively... More

This was by far our best restaurant meal in Scotland. Walking down the hill from visiting Stirling Castle, hungry and thirsty, we stumbled on this wonderful pub. We loved everything - the atmosphere, the service and friendly staff won us over. And the food didn't disappoint. We all ordered the meat pies, either chicken or beef, and everything was delicious.... More

Returned to Stirling for a few days and what a lovely surprise with the new menu. One of our party had the vegetarian fish and chips, while others had the breaded fish, all were excellent and beautifully presented. A big thank you to Greig who manages Drouthy Neebors perfectly.

Throughout our visit to Scotland, we were blown away by the kindness of the Scottish people. Never was this more apparent than during our meal at the Drouthy Neebors, where we received excellent service (and guidance!) by our waitress, Sarah, who was incredibly patient with our group of seven confused Americans. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food... More

We decided to stop by Drouthy Neebors (Thirsty Neighbors) on our walk back to the train station from the Stirling Castle. The atmosphere was excellent and we were immediately greeted and welcomed. From the get-go the service was excellent and we enjoyed a pint and took our time looking over the menu. While we looked things over, our waitress brought... More

Visited here for lunch and whilst menu is limited to fish, pies and sausages, the food we had which included fish and chips plus chicken pie, were very tasty. Living in London, I tend to enjoy fish and chips on regular basis, and I would make this my local if I lived in Stirling. Edinburgh based lager was perfect drink... More

My niece's and my first visit to Stirling and to Scotland was off to a great start with an evening meal at Drouthy Neebors. We were attracted to the restaurant by the menu options that were displayed in the window. They appeared to be unique and not just the usual pub fare. Sean was our waiter and from the first... More

We popped in for beers and dinner and we were warmly welcomed! I ordered the salmon; it was excellent. My husband ordered the sausages with haggis, as he is a haggis fan. He was very satisfied. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable, and the price was quite reasonable. They do have live music. We have no reservations in recommending Drouthy... More
