A pleasant surprise!!!

Usually we just drop in for a shandy but a last minute change of plan meant we opted for food. We were very impressed!! Excellent food good value for money. Impressive portions and my other half raved about the fish!! Will definitely be back soon :)

We had a wee trip to Stirling the other day and had lunch in Drouthy Neebors. It's in the old town not far from the main shopping centre. We shared 3 Scottish tapas for £8.95 Have to say, very filling and good value. My wife had an omelette with smoked salmon and I had fish and chips. Both freshly cooked... More

Nice pub with Punk IPA on draught. Superb beer, but get in quick if you want a seat. We didn't eat here, but the food looked ok

Normally come here when in Stirling for our family meal , this time we came with no children and stayed in a local hotel , there was no live music on however the staff let us pick our own music and downloaded what ever we chose. Had the tapas and was that great we had another 3

Had an amazing time here, found it by chance when traveling elsewhere. Total Scottish package from decor, food & music. Food was really good as well. Staff made us feel really welcome as well. Great start to our holiday. Will be back & I highly recommend.

After having a great meal a few months ago we returned with family for a lunch. There is now a different menu so not sure if it has changed hands or chef but there will be no return for a third visit. After sitting down the first thing we noticed was the chef outside smoking. We very nearly walked away... More

Well when you want to just pop in somewhere for s quick bite, do your damnedest to avoid this place! Fish and chips was bland, soggy and a bit of a mushy mess. Another chain restaurant at its best! Let's get back to supporting privately owned pubs that don't take the piss with terrible food and unsatisfactory service

Popped in for lunch. Had burgers (one chicken with cheese & barbecue sauce, one with black pudding and haggis). Food was okay, not great. Chips where's bit wet, maybe the oil wasn't quite hot enough? Service was good, but we wouldn't rush back.

We stopped in here at an odd time of day to get something small to eat and some drinks. So much for something small to eat! We had the Belhaven Ale Sticky Sausages and after reading the Tripadvisor reviews, decided we had to try the Home made Steak and Ale Pie. I would HIGHLY recommend both dishes. The food here... More
