In an unassuming spot - just opposite the a budget hotel in the newly commercialised riverside area - is this this cracking little diner. We stopped for lunch and the had a main course each, which was perfect. It wasn't expensive and the menu large for the very tight cooking area. I've eaten in stirling a number of times and... More

Went for my birthday lunch on January 9th and it was simply divine. The food, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the nice little touches make this the ONLY place we would eat in Stirling. We live a few miles out of Stirling and have tried many, many places and would not go past Gabe's for a nice meal.

Went to gabes Diner this evening as a last minute thing and so glad we did. Lovely warm atmosphere, friendly staff and food delicious with a feeling that care is put into the dishes they prepare. Overall lovely night and will definitely return with friends in the near future..

We had travelled to Stirling the previous day to do some sightseeing at the Castle and Wallace Monument. We stayed in the Premier Inn and after checking out noticed a little place across the street called Gabe's Diner so decided to give it a try. The food was incredible! Didn't have to wait too long at all and it was... More

My family and I went to Gabes last night. I have lived in Stirling for 20 years and I can honestly say last nights dinner was the best food I've had in stirling in my life. It's BYOB which actually turned out to be nice. I had the scallops, and the beef en croute which were both cooked perfectly. The... More

In a relatively recently developed part of Stirling just over the bridge from the railway station sites Gabe's Diner. It was described to me as looking like a bus shelter and in some ways it does! It is BYOB and as you walk in the chef is cooking in the small open plan kitchen near the door. There is a... More

My girlfriend and I have been to Gabe's a few times now, and went last night for my surprise birthday meal. We tend to always end up opting for the steak as it's just so good. The only steak I have had that was better was when I was in New York but that was probably twice the price! From... More

Handy little place to grab a bite to eat, certainly beats the surrounding eateries, always warm and friendly staff

Popped in after the cinema on a Monday for a meal as many of my colleagues and friends have always said how nice it was. Right from the start I felt we were a hassle for the waitress who also seemed to be doing the dishes. They talk a good talk but the food is nothing more than well dressed... More

Stopped here for our coffee stop during our cycle. We ate from the breakfast menu which is served until 4pm. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The New York Bagel is superb. Nice touch is the cycle racks outside and the wood burning stove inside. Well worth heading off the beaten track for
