The menu is tired and drab and the quality really poor. The quiche was pretty tasteless but what made it worse was the fact that it had obviously been microwaved as it was soggy. Two portions of macaroni cheese were over cooked and dried out. Sandwiches were all bread and little filling. Prices are very high for what it is... More

Great food, cooked well, service good. Fresh and decent choices. Not massive amounts but what's available comes from the local farm and is fresh and of high quality! Friendly and consistent service.

It's still part of the farm it sits on and as well as the coffee shop/restaurant there is a store for all foods and cards and furniture and knick knacks which are produced in Scotland. There is always good service and delicious food. Husband had the full Scottish breakfast (served until 12) as we made it to the table a... More

Picturesque setting, lovely (but pricey) farm shop. The cakes were nice although the Victoria sponge was generously dusted with plain flour rather than icing sugar which was a tad bizarre - but obviously not an issue. Scones were fresh, but tiny. Other cakes looked a bit sparse, and there was only a couple of slices left. I suspect we came... More

Wonderful view of Wallace's Monument, even on a wet day. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Shop full of wonderful things to look at but a bit on the pricy side. But they food is marvellous, the coffee is lovely and the CAKE! - very generous portions and certainly looks and tastes home made.

We visit here often, great cakes, fabulous lunches, always a great atmosphere and lovely staff! Yes it's a little expensive but then you do get all of the above, so it's worth it! (Amazing macaroni cheese!), will keep returning

Lovely little setting for a farm/coffee shop. Lots of local produce and different things to look at. The food, service and prices are all great. Staff are always very friendly. One of my favourite places to visit!

This was my first visit to the Coffee Bothy and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Great food, great service and great prices. I went here with my son and my friend to get a spot of lunch and the first thing we noticed was how busy the car park was. Both restaurants were almost full yet the service was speedy and... More
