Great cakes

I have only visited this place for tea or coffee and can't speak for the food but if it's anything like the cakes it will be amazing. There is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and the service quick and friendly. There is a well stocked farm shop on-site and also a gift shop and furniture store... read more

Have passed by this area many times but never knew this place existed. What a find!! There are two eateries - an express stop/take-away and a main restaurant for longer lunches. Both offer an excellent variety of home made soups, main dishes, scones, cakes, etc. There is a lovely farm shop with lots to offer - prices vary, but fairly... More

Always busy but we find that neither the friendly service or the fab food is affected by this. Some new things on the menu - our favourite eating place and the coffee is superb.

Been here several times and have always enjoyed the coffee and lovely cakes despite them being a bit pricey. I am happy to pay for quality. Today I was meeting friends for a blether and decided to bring along my daughter and her friend who have both recently turned 11. Neither are big eaters and asked for a cheese toastie... More

Although our lunchtime food (Soup, Macaroni Cheese and Toasted Sandwiches) were nothing special, the coffee with cakes were DELICIOUS - all home made! In addition, the onsite Farm Shop had a fantastic array of Scottish foodstuffs and fayre's at reasonable prices. All in all therefore, this place is worth taking a detour for - enjoy!

Much loved by locals, the Coffee Bothy usually provides tasty food. Last time I went, I had the Nachos with Haggis, and I didn't eat for the rest of the day. Fantastic food. Busy at peak times. Always a good sign!

The Coffee Bothy is slightly off the main road through the Hillfoot towns but is really enjoyable. It is beautifully situated with stunning views of the Ochil hills. The squidgy coconut cake I had was gluten-free and delicious. The shortbread round my companion had was enormous and much appreciated by my companion and the dog! What is really difficult is... Set in a great location near Wallace Monument and the Ochil hills; my favourite place to eat out in Stirling. It isn't open at night for dinner; which is just as well for me as I would be there far too often! The quality of food & service speak for themselves really as sometimes there is a queue and you... The coffee bothy is consistently of a high standard. The food is very good quality and very good value. The staff are always friendly, professional and nothing is a problem. There is also a good selection of gluten free. The shop also has a great selection of foods, gifts and furniture. Well worth a visit.
