If I wanted food poisoning yeah..

Chicken was pink, but steak burnt. Our waiter says "well what do you want me to do then" .. Funnily enough, you come to a restaurant and pay for food to be cooked, not still roar & so burnt you can't even cut it?! Worse meal we've ever had out.

Popped in here as we had some vouchers that we wanted to use up. It was a Sunday night around 7.30 fairly busy but parking never a issue as it's got a huge car park at rear of pub. I used to visit fairly regular but haven't been for years. The decor has not changed and to be honest it... More

Nice evening out with 3 friends who don't get together often. There is a great range of food on the menu, the service is fast and friendly, the choice of drinks is good too. Allowed us plenty of time to chat and laugh in between meals. Good value, clean and spacious - a decent pub meal. Really happy they take... More

We've been eating at the Shipley Bridge pub restaurant for more than 10 years and seen it develop into a good eatery. The food is straight forward, filling and well priced especially with the deals and the atmosphere is welcoming as would be expected from a Chef & Brewer pub. There's plenty of car parking. We enjoy the steak-and- wine... More

Nice quiet pub - great for an office festive lunch Good selection of drinks and the service was snappy The problem was the nosh for me, Starters weren't well executed but ok The main course of Slow Cooked rib of beef was like something out of the flintstones. A huge Piece of bone which was like a huge spare rib... More

I have eaten here both at lunchtime and in the evening. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the Manager, Yvonne, is a delight. Just the right kind of person to be running the restaurant. There is a really nice atmosphere in the Shipley Bridge, and whether you are in a large party, or just 2 of you,... More

Having enjoyed reading the menu on line and looking forward to a night out with a group of friends... the food was a complete let down, but in true Brit fashion, it's not good form to whinge and ruin everyone else's night. The LIVER AND BACON was LUKE WARM. The plate was cold. Tough liver served on a base of... More

The warm welcome that you always receive from Yvonne and her team never varies each time that we go there for a meal. All the staff are always very attentive and as always nothing is too much trouble when you ask for a slight variation from the menu. As mentioned by most people who have reviewed the Shipley Bridge recently... More

Visited the shipley bridge for a quiet Sunday lunch, the staff were welcoming and friendly on arrival, the menu quite extensive and reasonably priced, the food arrived quickly after initial order and looked very appetizing, and just as good upon the eating. Well done shipley you've gained a fan, if your ever in the horley, Crawley area i would recommend... More
