Great Lunch today, dropped in to try this place out as a potential venue for our office gathering. Couldn't fault the attention from our server, a delightful gentleman, very cheerful and attentive from the minute we stepped in. Food was Delicious, I had the Linguine Pasta, followed by Chocolate Fudge Cake, my companion also had the Pasta followed by Sorbet... More

Came across this place by chance. Part of a chain of restaurants, but quite individual. A broad menu with plenty of choice. Quality food at a fair price fr what you get. The front seating area could have been a little brighter maybe.

This was an old haunt of ours from years gone by. It is now a chain pub and we thought we would meet for lunch. I arrived at 11.45 but they opened up early for me and I had a coffee. Its Costa, so that is a real bonus. Very friendly and helpful staff. I sat outside in the sunshine,... More

Menu descriptions very bad, Roast Rib of Beef turned out to be Braised Beef Short Rib, very disappointing. Service was somewhat slow, although staff were pleasant. Educating the waiting staff to what they are serving would be a great help. Overall a very disappointing experience, and will not return in a hurry

There is a great range of food on the menu, the service is fast and friendly, the choice of drinks is good too. We have been here several times, both with our children and as a couple and have never had a bad experience. Good value, clean and spacious - a decent pub meal.

Five of us ate on a thursday eve. Service was good and reasonably friendly. Food was ok. Kids portions were unusually small, to be honest i have never seen a smaller burger and the waiter must have been embarrassed about the serving of chips as he brought another bowl for the table. Fish cakes looked like they were pre made... More

After being totally disappointed by the parsons pig down the road someone reminded me about the Shipley Bridge, absolutely amazing is all I can say, Table service was fast and very professional yet I paid no more than a pub where you hang about at the bar waiting for service all night. I will be back... Fantastic.

I eat here a lot. Why? Because I feel it is home from home. Family also love the atmosphere.Food is always good. If Yvonne is in the bar as she nearly always is. Then the food is all checked before going into the pub. Cannot believe they still make pub landladies like her. Her family all have same work ethics... More
