Avoid this restaurant at all costs! We only ate here as we had no other option! The carvery was dry and tasteless and the curry I had tastes like stock without spices. It's overpriced, poorly presented and tastes like nothing! Literally nothing! The hotel is a dump and this resistant matches it beautifully!

Carvery was a choice of turkey or other meat and another option such as chilli but bacon for breakfast smelt and tasted like it had been cooked with the turkey

The restaurant was self-service and the staff were friendly and efficient. Good choice at breakfast, with both hot and cold meals. Evening meals offered 3 courses and the food was ok if a bit repetitive.

A bland, luke warm, greasy meal - not at all enjoyable. Reasonable cost but not reasonable food. Cardboard in my dessert, cold, watery and powdery custard. Meat was fatty, veg ok but warm not hot despite me being there a few minutes after opening time. Never again

You walk into a brightly lit room lacking any sort of ambience and are straight away asked to pay - rude! We sit down (on the right side as told - as the left had even set for breakfast) and then waited to be asked for our choice of drinks...and waited...until we asked and were told we had to go... We had steak and chips on the first night. The chips were good salad good. Peppercorn sauce good. Steak...strange. it had a strange texture a bit grey inside (and as i have mine rare it shouldnt have been) my mum sent hers back as it was cremated when she also asked for rare. It was only £8.50 mind as it... More

A bit odd that you have to pay up front before you sit down to eat!! But there was plenty to 'eat as much as you like' from the carvery. Other members in our group at the fish and chips and the tikka masalla - which they enjoyed.

nice restaurant, food was ok, both Turkey and Gammon on the carvey menu. Breakfast was again ok, just try and miss the opening times as it gets busy give it ten or fifteen minutes and then go.
