Mulberry Restaurant is based in the historic Langshott Manor hotel, near to Gatwick. But this is as far away from airport hotels and aeroplane food as you’re likely to get around here, Mulberry means gourmet food in gourmet surroundings. Set in a restored sixteenth century manor house, the restaurant is bedecked in regal red and green, swagged window dressings frame the view over the picturesque Surrey garden and gleaming glass and crisp linen set the scene. The menu is created often using produce grown in Langshott’s own kitchen garden and combines traditional methods with a fresh injection of modernity while a 140 bin wine list makes sure your meal really takes off.

Great food

Enjoyed a vey good evening meal and great breakfast in the Mulberry restaurant. Excellent service. Think the atmosphere was lacking in the evening. Better in the morning where the views across the garden brightened it up for us.

My husband and I enjoyed a rare date night at the Mulberry restaurant on Saturday. The food was beautiful - I particularly enjoyed the chocolate fondant for dessert, it was the best fondant I've ever had - so light! The only downside to the meal was the pre dinner drinks we enjoyed. The rooms used for this purpose lack atmosphere... More

As mentioned in my langshott hotel review, the door that staff use to go between kitchen and dinning room is badly located. Very noisy and bright lights in dinners face. Not good at all.

Langshott was a "long shot" a definition of which is above. Recent lunch for seven of us. The Mulberry is a pleasant, sophisticated setting in a 16C. Tudor Manor with views out to the garden later exploration of which revealed a charming terrace by a pond. A really attractive, photogenic, and tranquil setting and it is easy to see what... More

I recently visited for afternoon tea with friends and wasn't impressed. The cakes that were service some of which were dry to the point that I felt they were a few days old and the sandwiches were very small and not plentyful. If fact the portions serviced were as if they had forgotten one of us. The service was terrible... More

The food was awful and the staff was just plain rude. The afternoon tea was nothing special as the jam and cream tasted like it was bought from a cheap shop. Would never go back and certainly would not recommend.

As I cannot eat vinegar, I wasn't able to have a couple of choices on the tasting menu, so we opted to eat from the three course a la carte menu for dinner. Many of the dishes are designed with pickled vegetables or sauces or dressings involving vinegar, so I had to negotiate thes obstacles, however, despite this, my meal... More

4 friends and teachers celebrating one birthday, very pleasant surroundings if a little dark. No replenishing of and witches or scones though. Some do, these did not. Glass of champagne started it nicely before term starts again
