Having had a not very good experience at this restaurant many years ago it has taken a long time for us to re-visit. The restaurant has changed ownership and now is nothing like before....... This was a dark November evening visit. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Manager Neil and shown to our table. The restaurant itself invokes a... More

What can i say! Great service, great hot food and fresh. Had the fish of the day and it was so fresh, could not believe it as some places say fresh but its really frozen. The desert was wonderful, very indulgent but great. We were not rushed by the staff one bit and the whole experience was great. We will... More

We came during a country fair and had a magical experience, complete with birds of prey and kids racing cars! Whilst these aren't a permanent fixture the idyllic setting and great food is, so definitely worth a visit. We'll be going back for sure.

This pub has so much potential and very nearly gets there. We were a party of four looking forward to a traditional Sunday lunch. There was nothing wrong with the service, the young waitress was attentive and helpful. Most of us chose the Pink roast beef. Sadly the quality of the beef was a little poor. Not using the best... Food seemed to have been prepared earlier and heated up when ordered and served. We have eaten there a few times before and it's always been the same- average.

My partner and I had a three course meal to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent. I had calamari which was clearly homemade and the batter was light and melted in the mouth. My partner had pate which was very tasty with plenty of toasted French bread . The calves liver with bacon was delicious and perfectly cooked .... More

Went last weekend for Sunday Lunch, as we have done so a number of times over the years some good some bad. Really pleased that the wonderful pub the Fox Revived is has showed some really good consistency over the last year or so. Well done to all of the staff.

The Fox Revived is a really lovely country pub, and being local we have watched it go through bad times and good. A previous reviewer has taken the words from my mouth – It has such potential, but it needs someone running it who really cares. We booked Sunday lunch (28th) for 8 adults and 4 children for 2.30 p.m.... More

A lovely place, please please let someone who actually cares take it over! We live locally and were put off around 9 months ago when the service and the food quality left a lot to be desired, we came back and had a couple of reasonable meals with questionable service. Tonight I had to send my starter back as it... More
