Tasty and Beautiful-Looking Food!"

I took my 84 year old sister out for Lunch at The Half Moon Charlwood and what a wonderful experience it turned out to be! My sis had Haddock & Home-Made Chunky Chips, which she polished off (she is not known for having a particularly good appetite) and I had the most beautiful-looking and... read more

Wether it was a coincidence, or not, I will never know, but , as we drove to the pub , there happened to be a half moon shining in the sky seeming to show us the way! However, once in the places we were given a choice by e very genial gentleman, who I assume was the landlord. Ami was... More

A lovely lunch, not overpriced in a nice setting. Certainly one of the best meals I've had in a pub. Parking is a bit tight.

Little to no parking, cramped restaurant (kept on having people bang into my chair and boring food. The starter, squid was good. Main, roast beef was boring and lacked much taste. The pudding, Eton mess was ok. Main problem was the parking and cramped conditions.

Nestled down a single track tiny village road next to a church so parking is at a premium on Sunday lunchtimes. Not great if you have elderly people who are unable to walk very far. Always BOOK as very popular and I can understand why! A small pub but has comfy leather chesterfield sofas and a good sized area if... More

Been to this pub a few times and its always a great pleasure . Lovely proper old English country pub with a great atmosphere. Food is superb for a pub (highly recommend the Ribbs) but slightly expensive though . service and cleanliness also great , cant really fault it at all .

This pub was recommended by our hosts at the Manor House Crawley, before flying the next day. The pub was very friendly, full of character and the restaurant menu choice was amazing. The meal was wonderful (the best ribs I have ever eaten) and would certainly eat there again.

Couldn't get parked outside so had to park further down in the village and walk to the pub using the torch on our phones as it was so very dark in the side road that led to the pub. The pub had a good atmosphere but there was a birthday party on that night so not sure what it's like... More

Had dinner here before our flight good choice main course was very good but the pudding was second rate stodgy and bland for a cumble without crumble.

We have been here twice whilst staying overnight at The Russ Hill Hotel before flying from Gatwick. Once we ate outside in August where the planes fly so close you feel you can almost touch them. It certainly gets you in the holiday mood! And the other was last week in February where we ate inside in the restaurant. There... More
