Fish and chips Friday

This was Friday lunch with a friend. The atmosphere was great, staff very friendly but also very busy. There were many customers outside as well. We had to wait quite a long time for our first drink, but it was one of their summer non-alcoholic cocktails and was actually lovely and worth waiting... read more

I was taking my family for my birthday and had told them what a lovely pub this was. The service was appalling My husbands food was cold and we waited an hour and 20 minutes for our main meal. We complained and the manager came over and asked us what we wanted done about it, we all found her manner... More

Too many people, too little staff, kitchen unable to cope. This is a very attractive pub with a lovely beer garden we walked down from The Travel Lodge Gatwick Airport. The drinks were nice, wide choice and very cold. Thats it. You had to join one long line to order drinks and food and the wait was around 25 minutes... More

Very good value and very good quality food. Only a 10 minute walk from Gatwick North terminal. Good was served quickly. Couldn't fault it, in a lovely old building.

Nice pub and choice of beer. Stick to basic pub food. Been many times before going on holidays and every time the steak is either not cooked properly or like boot leather. Won't go wrong Pie & chips. Trust me! Also very poor service. The waitress does not know the difference between a medium and a RAW bloody steak and... More

Despite the law of the UK stating that a 16-year-old is allowed an alcoholic drink served with a meal when dining with parents, this establishment refused to allow my son to have a glass of wine with his meal. We are responsible adults and are well aware of the law concerning this and have allowed our son a glass of... More

Visited here to celebrate a friends 21st birthday. It was recommended by a friend. What a let down! We were shown to our table where we were offered drinks. We order a bottle of wine and when it was brought to us it was left in the wine bucket and the waitress told us that she will leave there because... More
