THE place for an Indian meal in Tenby. We have visited many times over the years and have always enjoyed our meal. Service is fine and the view overlooking the harbor is outstanding. Really like the fact that we can bring our own drink - we tend to stop off at the small Tesco's close by and pick up some... More

As said by many others the view over the harbour at Tenby from this restaurant is sensational and indeed this is what drew us here in the first place (as well as being lovers of indian cuisine). We had a pleasant evening and the food was good but I share a previous reviewer's reservations regarding the service and welcome which... More

Living less than ten miles from Birmingham's Balti Triangle we are used to indian/Pakistani/Kashmiri/Bangladeshi curries and are often disappointed when we are tempted to try one further afield. However, the Bay of Bengal delivered in spades and I recommend it to curry lovers without any hesitation. The menu had plenty of the usual meals that are becoming ubiquitous these days... More

Four of us visited the restaurant on Saturday night. We hadn't booked a table but were shown to one in the bay window which had stunning views and we were suitably impressed. We were not made to feel welcome though, which is very unusual for an Indian restaurant, and can't really say anything positive about the service. Whilst the food... More

My wife and I dined in the restaurant as we both like Indian cousine. Food was average as my lamb in Rogan josh dish was tough and my wife's chicken tikka balti was swimming in oil. Must say we both like the starters. It is pricey for what it is. I guess they charge extra because of wonderful view overlooking... More

I went here on Saturday night for a meal with my fiancé- we were hoping for some tasty Indian food and a lovely view and we were not disappointed! We were about 30 minuites early but the friendly waiter showed us to a table downstairs with a stunning view overlooking the beach and harbour. We were served quickly and the... More

We hadn't booked but they managed to accommodate our request for a table with a view. It was quite chilly in the restaurant though. It is bring your own alcohol. Food was average. I had chicken tikka which was a little tough but our friends had lamb and said it was nice.

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions before and it has been adequate. I had to wait 30 minutes for my order to be taken and then we were served microwaved tough chicken but before we had finished the starter the main course arrived and was put on the table. When I made my feelings known the owner said... More

I came here for my birthday, a large group of 12. the food was fine, nothing too special. They got our orders wrong and were in no way encouraged to rectify and we simply just had to deal with what we were given. The service is poor, the men are very grumpy and I felt as though we were very... More

The food is very good and flavoursome and we really enjoyed our night at the Bay of Bengal. The view from our table was just stunning, looking over the sea.
