Great drinking garden

The back garden is great for drinking in the sun, very busy, obviously popular with locals, not exactly up to date or enough to blow your mind away and no sea views but for a sun spot to have a beer. Enjoy!

Ordered drinks to have while we perused the menu and hoped to see some plates of other people's food to get an idea ... Particularly important as the limited menu was priced higher than the offerings warranted. After seeing a... More

Visited for the first time today after several trips to Tenby, place always looks busy which I normally assume is a good sign but didn't expect the food to be so substandard. Maybe I chose the 'wrong thing' after spotting plates of food being brought out which looked good from a distance 'Fish Pie' but I'll summarise- Pembrokeshire Ribs 'Bbq'-... More

Traditional boozer. Great portions of just what you would expect, steak pie, fish and chips etc. pint of prawns looked amazing. Great beer garden, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Not top end dining just boozing, eating and basking in the sunshine. Oh and there are loads of patio heaters if you're still here when the sun goes down. Top... More

we visited for an early dinner with our three children (aged 5, 7 & 9) twice during our stay. The atmosphere was relaxed with no airs and graces. A really nice traditional 'old school' pub. The food was delicious on both evenings. The staff were friendly and there were a few other families in there too along with some couples.... More

The food was lovely, well served and substantial! All was super except for the wait for the food - 25 minutes which i thought was a tad over long but well worth waiting for when we did get to eat!

OK this isn't the poshest and the toilets could really do with a refurb but the food is always great and so is the atmosphere! Ate here Easter Sunday evening and managed to get a table outside under the patio heater - was fab!
