Fantastic restaurant. Some of the best restaurant food I've had anywhere with friendly service, in a relaxed setting. Worth every penny. Would recommend the seafood starter - Yum!

Went for an early evening meal with my son. Thought we would try here for a treat !. The restaurant is nicely decorated, very quirky and candles a nice touch. Our first course was delicious but our main was disappointing. I had Sea Bass and didn't taste as fresh as I would have expected for the price ! My son... More

Had a great family meal here. Generous portions and all meals cooked well. The lighter meals are not as small as you'd think. Very helpfull staff.

We were recommended this restaurant by relatives that had previously visited the area. It was difficult to find initially, as the front entrance is so unassuming, but we weren't disappointed when we did eventually spot the front door! We booked earlier in the day, and would advise booking, particularly in high season as this restaurant seems to be quite popular.... More

My son treated me to a meal at the Blue Ball yesterday. It was perfect, the best Sunday lunch Ive ever had, thick lamb, delicious roasties and mash and wonderful veg and gravy. I had duck starter which was delicious. The welcome, the food and the atmosphere make this restaurant one of the best in the world. Maria

The decor is lovely and on a cold, windy evening felt warm and welcoming as was Zoe who made me feel immediately at ease. She was great and although efficient was ready for a chat, especially appreciated as I was dining alone. I started with oysters served with tasty home-made bread. Then the highlight lemon sole with champagne sauce. The... More

We ate here Saturday night, the staff and welcome was warm and friendly, and the restaurant decor was very pleasant. We ordered a lovely bottle of wine, and the only complaint there was the wine glass stems were hot from the glass washer! We did think, on reading the menu that the prices were high for the area, but recommendations... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We have taken on board your comments regarding the hot stems on our glass, which was an unfortunate occurrence, and have now put in measures to ensure this does not happen again. We can assure you however that the fish you were served that evening were fresh and... More
