A really nice pub. A mix of families, couples and quite a few of the locals (which is always a good sign). Really friendly service, good choice of beer. A pub that we visited on several occasions during our time in Tenby. Recommended.

We both had curries, my husband had tikia masala and I had a korma there was a lot on the plate, it was tasty and the rice was fluffy. You had to wait which is fine as its freshly cooked, friendly service as well. Its a very busy pub to eat and get a table be there by 7-pm

We visited this lovely pub last month on our holidays. I think it has the prettiest frontage of the pubs in Tenby as it is bedecked in hanging baskets and flower tubs galore. It really is a beautiful sight. Initially we only stopped for a drink but changed our minds when we saw the food coming out of the kitchens.... More

we visited for lunch, our 3 small dogs were welcome. There's a seperate area which dogs are allowed in. The food was very tasty, cooked perfectly! For me there was a lot of it, so definitely worth the money! However, a lot was wasted unfortinately as i couldn't manage it all. The staff were ever so friendly, warm and welcoming!... More

My husband and I ate here last week, he had the seabass which was absolutely huge and I had the whole sole which was also quite large, the fish tasted fresh and was cooked really well. it was a delicious meal, the only downside is that you can't book.

What a lovely experience we had - I ordered at the bar a prawn salad and half a lobser salad. Absolutely delightful - when the food came the portions were extremely generous and the lovely girl who served us - mentioned that chef has given a whole lobster due to half a lobster was slightly smaller than usual. Lunch was... More

We visited the Hope and Anchor on Wednesday 20th August for an evening pub meal. I had visited before with friends and knew that the food was good, so decided to go that little way out of the centre of Tenby (still an easy walk) for food I knew to be nice. The place was very busy and we ordered... More

Popped in on Saturday and the pub is quite small inside, more room outside. 40 min wait for food means we moved on to Tenby house. Called back on Sunday quieter not a lot of people eating... Placed small order and waited an hour when we where told 30 min? Staff at the bar were not friendly and often seamed... More
