poped in here a few times for coffee snacks and a meal, yes its busy but staff are nice and work hard , our order came out wrong but they just efficiently sorted it with no fuss and a very sorry, seating outside when they close the road is good for a coffee and watch the world go by ,... More

We visited the Hope and Anchor on Wednesday 20th August for an evening pub meal. I had visited before with friends and knew that the food was good, so decided to go that little way out of the centre of Tenby (still an easy walk) for food I knew to be nice. The place was very busy and we ordered... More

Popped in on Saturday and the pub is quite small inside, more room outside. 40 min wait for food means we moved on to Tenby house. Called back on Sunday quieter not a lot of people eating... Placed small order and waited an hour when we where told 30 min? Staff at the bar were not friendly and often seamed... More

The outside board menus advertising local seafood tempted us in. We booked in advance but had a really squashed and uncomfortable table. It is a restaurant but there isn't table service so had go fight to crowded bar to order. Menu inside was not as extensive as inside. Food took an hour to come. Others who ordered after us got... I was disapointed on walking in to a busy bar with hardly any tables. Outside was a small beer garden and upstairs about three tables for families and one for a couple. We went around 4/5 o'clock and ordered a seafood platter for two after seeing it on the specials boards outside. The food was lovely! (A salad and seafood,... More

Had lunch today on the closed to traffic street outside the pub as my eldest named Hope insisted on eating in a pub bearing her name. Excellent dressed crab and very good mussels (although the sauce could have been reduced a little more if I'm being picky). Superb local seafood menu and very good local and Cornish beers.

We had our wedding reception here as we wanted something informal. The staff were amazing , food fab would highly recommend and we had a large party of 30 eating and the food was out in good time and all together!

Went in for Lunch on a lovely sunny day. Was overcharged to start with, but this was sorted after challenging. No indication of a wait time on the food was given. To cut a long story short, we waited over an hour and 30 minutes for a jacket potato and a ploughmans lunch. Several requests for update on timings were... More

Walked in with a group of work colleagues yesterday afternoon, a mixed party of various ages from early 20's to 50's. A few of the party were served before the bar staff refused to serve the remainder of the group - what reason? None save for we were a large group!!! I could understand if we had been a drunken...
