We arrived in Tenby at lunchtime and immediately looked for somewhere for a pint of real ale and some food. We found the Hope and Anchor, and the welcoming menu enticed us in. It is an unpretentious pub with a really good atmosphere. We were disappointed that "Reverend James" beer, said to be available on the notice, was not, but... More

A great little pub, with great atmosphere. We used the Hope & Anchor as a place to get our bearings, it was a joy to visit tbh. A great guest ale pub, with a place in the CAMRA good beer guide too. We didn't eat here but the food looked great. Thanks and well done.

There seems to be two areas - the main bar areas downstairs and a dining area upstairs. Both are fairly compact, but we went for the downstairs to get a bit more atmosphere. There... More

Reasonable prices. Just hit the spot after a long walk along the coast. Fish was very good and lots of variety. Wine was well chilled and the staff were pleasant. Can't ask for more than that. Thank you.

Hubby and I had lunch here on Sat. I had curry half n half my only complaint it was too much very tasty. Hubby had mussels he was disappointed there wasn't enough bread served with it and he said he would of benefited having a spoon with it. But overall very nice we will be back.

Excellent fresh mackerel in cosy pub. We enjoyed local apple cider and visiting with the locals. Too chilly to sit outside but inside pub was very cheerful
